I love them. The VE-5m (smaller) pair are really good for monitoring purposes i've found. And yes, my god do they rumble low, i have the crossover set to 60Hz at the moment, so the sub is only handling 30Hz(ish)-60Hz.
As for quality, they're build as well as they sound, solid, crisp and loud.

Those wouldn't happen to be the Apollo lights by any chance would they? I just bought a 6x15" set to go round my wall mounted TV this week, very impressed (they can get to near enough 6500K for optimal movie viewing as well as all the pretty colours). Another place sells something similar, then there's a certain Swedish chain and a high street place selling 'Atollo' lights but they aren't as good.
 
You can get them in Tesco's, at least the one round here. If you live in the South East, they used to be sold in Bluewater too, although I can't say I've seen them lately.

It's pretty much the same thing, i only use two but you can buy add on sets.

How do you make one wallpaper span two monitors? I've tried and just keep incurring fail points... is it because I'm using a tv and a monitor? will it recognise that it's a tv and not span? or does vista just not span because it's gay? lol

Windows Vista or 7 won't do it natively. You can span the wallpaper using Ultramon.

Both screens being at different resolutions is going to be a right ball ache to make one to span the two though isn't it lol

Yeah, it can be :p I used to have a dual screen setup with a 1920 x 1200 monitor and a 1680 x 1050 monitor. If I had a dual screen wallpaper, I would just apply it across both. The outer edges on the 1680 x 1050 monitor would be lost, but it usually looked okay. On Ultramon you can also assign a different wallpaper to each monitor, so you could split and crop your wallpaper, and apply the two wallpapers to their respective monitors, so you could get the wallpaper looking good on both of them.
