*** Desk and Room Gallery***

I made it, sort of. It's a 4 metre oak worktop that I cut to size, added some cable management fitted to my wall plus a couple of trestles for support.

When I first fitted it before oiling:

seconded - nice desk/worktop. Cool idea.



That is a bowl with over 300 balls. I have a few around the house from when I was a kid.


This is in my attic conversion with solid pine steps down to a back room. On more than one occasion a few beers + daft friends = 300 balls sent pinging down the steps into the rest of my house :D

I love the style and lighting, but it looks like you would need to sit on a bar stool to use the PC and do your mixing sat on the floor.. :D
 
True.... the PC chair is on maximum lowest drop setting....

and my knees kill from long sessions at the decks. I have a few bean bags for sitting on - but its never the same, sitting at the decks!

Thats not good at all ;)

I have my decks on an IKEA EXPEDIT bookcase on its side, measures 80cm high then and 150cm long, and just deep enough for decks. this is fine for your back unless you're rather tall.

I added an extra half size one on the end to fit my speakers and amp too.. excuse mess, but you get the idea

Those boxes that fit in the shelves,are they £10 each or am I reading the website incorrectly or is it £10 for like a pack of 3 etc?

Wanted to get some of those but the £10 each 'box' puts me off!

yes, I paid equivalent to a tenner each.
I just relocated and had boxes of tapes, CDs, games etc and it was either use something like this or leave them in the movers boxes. These don't look too bad.

Lucky that my 12" don't fit inside, or the missus would have wanted another couple of dozen. lol
