Thanks. Yes both the chair and the av rack are diy. (The speakers and subwoofer are too, but that isn't as obvious) The car seat cost me nothing to make as it came out of my car when I upgraded to leather. It is super comfy, like no office chair I've sat in before. It's only let down is it doesn't have adjustable lumbar support. (Later models got that) It's still got all the standard car seat movements plus gas lift and recline from the office chair base.

Loving that Hi-Fi setup. Is that a 27" Dell monitor too?

It's a 24" 2408wfp, the nasty a00 model. Since I got it for free I can't complain though.

Split up the system into two now, so down to 2 monitors on my main one.

Tell me about it. Tiny spare room in our flat (new build....). In the process of buying a house, which has a fair sized man-cave.

They are indeed, a really underestimated pair of Cerwin Vega VE-8f off of a PM 6010, i'm never parting with this setup. Shame this room is cramped and they're against the wall, the need space.
Can't wait to get it all setup in the new man-cave.

Some updates:

New old TV Panasonic 46" TH-46PZ81B (Brought from neighbour for £200, could not say no!)

New case, Lian Li PC-7HX with stealth drive cover and Lamptron FC2 Fan controller. Did buy a Bitfenix Recon but I did not like that in the slightest
Runs completely silent since I swapped my old OCZ power supply for a new 1000W XFX. I hear the faint buzzing of the monitor over the computer!




I really should get around to buying a new chair
Then next on the list is watercooling after my final A-Level exams and then save up for a new graphics card and monitor

Don't worry about the boogie bug I've had mine years and it hasn't worn at all. A little dirty as the wife keeps eating at the PC. I'll definitely buy another one.

Just put it into a pillow case on a 40c wash and spin....comes up just like new ....gotta hang it straight down though so it doesnt form a bend in the middle

Had my Boogie Bug for a year now and the edges have long been worn and bended near the areas where I rest my wrists. Anyone got any idea how I can go about protecting the edges? I was thinking of maybe adding silicone protectors to the sides to not only keep it flat, but prevent further damage and to weight it down. I've no idea what the actual name for them is though, like ones found on welcome mats for example.

Here's a pic to show you what I mean, it's really becoming a bother now
