Making way for my new rig.
Made some modifications to my current furniture and spent most of the day hooking every thing back up.
Start
Amp in and endless lengths of cable...
Decks in, up and running, now for the computer bits.
Tv and sub in, now to connect up all the cables.
And finally finished, just got to get some handles.

Is that amp getting air vented to it somehow?
Strangely, eh? I don't feel the need for a sound card, on board sound sounds great?

"Strangely" does seem an odd choice of word. It's not strange really, though I guess with things like the Xonar DG costing around 25 quid and providing a noticeable (arguably) improvement in sound quality, it does seem slightly out of the ordinary not to upgrade from on board to a dedicated card.
However I bet most people wouldn't be able to tell in a blind test and on board sound is superb these days.

is the shelf you made free standing? im tempted to buy the same desk etc
capita legs and a lack shelf im guessing

Is that laminate? I really like the effect. Still would prefer carpet
It's engineered wood. Top 5mm is oak, the rest underneath standard is compacted board. Lovely stuff.
Yeah, I thought it looked too good! Not a fan of laminate myself.
