*** Desk and Room Gallery***

I'm not sure if posting links is allowed on here so I'll PM you.

Edit: If I knew how to send a PM... Can anybody tell me how? And by the way, I miss-spelled it. It is a Sonar desk that you can find on a famous office supermarket website. ;)

Thanks, found it. Looks good. I take it you got the 1.8m variant? Is yours the beech effect version?

You can't PM as such on this site. You have to go through the trust system which basically sends an email to that person via the website.

Phunky - is that white chest of drawers from IKEA's Alex range?

I got the 1.6m size as it gives me space to add a matching pedestal on the end and it's the oak effect. I can say that the cable management is excellent. It has a cable tray along the back which is accessible by sliding the top forward.

DXRACER chair
[/QUOTE]

Whats your view on the DXRACER chair? Is it comfortable for long working on a computer? Also whats the build quality like, I ask as all my office chairs begin to come loose at the base over time, does the chair look like it should last a while.

The chair has been very comfortable for long use, and the back pad supports the lower back really well. Mechanically it is very solid with a mainly metal build. The lever to recline the seat feels solid and the wheels operate very smoothly. I was also pleased with the quality of the arm rests - the mechanism to lower and raise them feels well made.

I thought that the ability to recline into a flat position would be a gimmick, but it really comes in handy when you want to kick back for a few minutes for a short rest.

I also got it at a good deal off the bay. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase.

Oh, and there are the aesthetics. It looks like a very high quality product in the flesh.
