LG37LF66 :)

I was initially put off by reviews about black levels being average but this must be a newer revision because I find the black levels to be pretty darn good!

I'm using a 8800GT and Transformers/Disturbia work nice and smooth. They are both 1080P and look excellent. :D

Also Blu-Ray playback via PS3 looks great, 24hz works fine too.

The TV was £616 with delivery but it can be had for a tad cheaper now I believe, fantastic value/bang for buck.

I went from using a Benq 20" 1680x1050 to this TV and the quality difference was huge, the LG has far, far better colours and contrast, the Benq looks ridiculously dark and pale in comparison.

1:1 pixel mapping and everything is included too, 1920x1080 for the PC is pin sharp, just make sure you use a DVI-HDMI adapter (or just HDMI-HDMI if you can) as VGA looks way blurry compared to HDMI.

I might actually buy one of these, can be had for £575 delivered now. Does it do 1080P over all ports ? My 360 is on component for now, so...

Looks good there anyway :)

I believe so! I haven't tested myself but IIRC the 360 can do 1080P via Component so it shouldn't be an issue!

VGA works at 1080P but for PC use you really should use HDMI or DVI-HDMI, the difference is massive, but strangely my 360 over HDMI was the exact same quality as VGA! :|

Only thing the TV lacks is DVI, but no big deal just means you might wanna invest in a HDMI-DVI adapter. (Which you will when you find the VGA looks blurry for computers!)

Great bang for buck. :D

And some new wall art... the colour and design work well with the room - but I think they're a little on the small side - oh well:

Nice speakers and amp, how much were they btw? I'm tempted to upgrade my amp with something flash soon too after making a small saving in car insurance today :p

500 for amp and 400 for speakers

BTW - is that the NAD C352 you've got?

I was thinking of getting the C372

Very nice Cambridge amp and speakers. The sound quality must be awesome

Yeah - it's phenomenol.

Really nice to have decent treble back after my Logitech Z5500s!

There's a horn in one of the songs on my playlist that I'd never heard til I upgraded to this sytem lol

Completely went over my budget... but nvm lol! Worth every penny :D

Looking at the Q5s or some Jamo E875s myself but the iQ7 look very nice, mrk when you get round to selling your NAD amp email me as I could do with something a bit more powerful.

From my short testing... the iQ5s sounded really rather flat & noticeably less bass compared to the iq7s... they were worth the extra #100 imo

Haven't seen the Jamos

How can you hear the horn on one system but not on others? I listin to lots of music and everything seems to be there I can see how something like a horn could be missing

Very high pitched... the 5500s couldn't reproduce the sound

I tried plugging them back in and playing it again & defintely not there. Showed it to my housemate too lol... Don't know where it goes.

I have the C320BEE :p - I had a Rotel RA-02 before it which was awesome but I needed a little something more to power the Tannoy speakers and now feel I could have a little more still!

The cycle continues :(

Who did you insure with?

Elephant, Admiral were cheap too but £50 more than Elephant @ £831 fully comp on the 10month scheme. NUD wanted £1400 for renewal, told them to stick it ^_^ Saved £100 this time round, next time will save even more after turning 25 and having 1yrs ncb! Good times are coming :p
