*** Desk and Room Gallery***

Wow, ic0n. Your tangled wires grew into a desk. I think those are the best before/after photographs I've ever seen!

thanks :D

after months of having all the stuff i only just got it all set up.

also there lots of room at the back for the 360 to breath :D

I have the C320BEE :p - I had a Rotel RA-02 before it which was awesome but I needed a little something more to power the Tannoy speakers and now feel I could have a little more still!

The cycle continues :(

Elephant, Admiral were cheap too but £50 more than Elephant @ £831 fully comp on the 10month scheme. NUD wanted £1400 for renewal, told them to stick it ^_^ Saved £100 this time round, next time will save even more after turning 25 and having 1yrs ncb! Good times are coming :p

Reason I ask is becuase I work for Norwich union :) I know what their like they aren't that great for younger drivers always. When you're about 35 you'll probably see a huge difference. I currently work in thier ford department. Great cover absolutely **** prices.

I'll tell you something, last year when I renewed with NUD I checked online and was quoted £1200+ by them so phoned up and was quoted £930 so on the spot renewed over the phone thinking the site must be fubar.

Got a letter 4 weeks later saying that they had made a mistake and charged me less than they should have due to not counting in the latest claim (2 months before renewal) and that they'd "absorb" the costs.

Even though since last renewal and this time I have not had any claims I think they increased the premium just to get some of that money back - the gits!

I think we've gone heavily ot here!

Sorry OT.

No it don't work like that. The computer system don't work that way. They will have just put the claim on this time and thats put the price up. Plus from year to year price do increase. Inflation yaknow.

You really can't compare companies TBH cos each one takes different things into consideration. Good example is that each company rates area's differently one might use a 1-30 or a 1-50 rating system. 1 being good and the higher number being bad. And beleive you me the area rating is the one thats given you cheaper price with elephant.

Next use confused or moneysupermarket. Its a very quick way to check lots of insurers. Find the one you like the look of most then call them up to finalize it. Also sometimes they have offers on. For example RAC members get £35 cashback.

Sorry last time I'll mention insurance :D

And on the display side I use a JVC HD1 projector. Native Res is 1920x1080.

Here's the 102" Screen. This is an old shot and my choice of large speakers(shown below) forced me to get swap over to something that could drop down in front the speakers. I now use an electric drop down screen that is acoustically transparent.

Here's a couple of shots of the projector in action, bare in mind that these are on a 102" screen. To get an idea of scale place four 50" plasmas in a 2 x 2 configuration and you have the idea :D

And last off we have the speakers. There's a tenner for anyone who can tell me the brand of them ;)
