Finally finished putting my new PSU in as the Corsair AX860i was just giving me non stop trouble, Plus I needed a little extra juice for the 295X2

Not the best picture as my camera is possesed by crap picture poltergeists but here's my setup with the following parts :) -

=========================================
Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.80GHZ

Asus Sabertooth Mark 1 Z97

Avexir Blitz 1.1 Original 16GB 2500MHZ

Asus R9295X2 8GB 1100/6000 + 1 x Corsair SP120mm White LED Edition

Slightly off topic Dicehunter but I see you've swapped out the stock fan on your 295x2. How have you found the SP120 compared to the stock for noise/performance and was it simple to swap them?

Hey bud, Well the temp difference is around 2-3 degrees as simply put the stock fan is complete crap.

I disconnected it as it's just your basic 3 pin fan like any other, Neatly zip tied the cable to the hose, Hiding it behind it and then installed the SP120 using the same screws from the stock fan.

I connected the SP120 to the motherboard and have it set to 3/4 of it's max speed, Even only at 3/4 it outperforms the stock fan.

I didn't connect the SP120 to the fan connector of the GPU as it's set to run at fairly low RPM even at higher temps and the SP120 made a clicking sound when connected to it so the motherboard headers were the logical choice.

Not forgetting to mention, It looks a lot cleaner than the stock fan :)

As this weekend is fast approaching, I'm just looking for a little extra information. If anybody knows, or has a tape measure handy. Could you measure how much room you have in cm's going from the floor to the bottom of the table?

I'm just interested in what the general size is for people. Only asking because the legs I plan to buy are 70cm.

OK just measured mine for you, as it stands with my old desk I have 60cm to the stupid slidey out keyboard tray that has never been used for a keyboard and just sits there ripping holes in my leg every time I catch it :(

The actual desktop is then a further 14cm higher.

BUT

Ikea have already delivered its replacement and the legs for that are 70cm and as I am loosing the keyboard tray thing I will in theory, (and practice I hope), actually end up with more leg room than I have now.

And I will end up with more desktop space as the monitors will be up 10cm on a shelf.

I am hoping to take some before and after pics as my PC will be moving into a new case at the same time so hoping for a bit of a brighter look to the living room.

Hope that helps.

To be honest not sure height will have any impact on desk choice unless you are well over 6feet and I mean well over :)

I am 180cm tall and the 70cm legs on my new desk will be plenty high enough to give me comfortable leg room.

Especially if you have an adjustable height chair.
