I don't really use the 5.1s, mainly game on Headset 99% of time. Only get to use external speakers when the misses isn't home.

Seen the link in the old bf4 thread where you purchased your worktop Tony, seems they do indeed supply worktops in the dimensions i need. L2m, D650mm, 38mm thick. £115.00 incl delivery for an unoiled one. Now need to look at drawer units. Reckon this would be enough to support my tv, monitor and case.

It's a 40mm thick x 650mm x 1.5m long piece of prime solid Oak, that I polished myself with Danish Oil. You can get a piece here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Prime-Sol...-Prime-Grade-Wood-Free-Delivery-/301036240539 got mine for £115 delivered, amazing piece of wood.

A lot of the ikea seperate table tops (the cheap ones, £20 ish) are hollow and not that great, they do however do a nice solid beech desk top, no corner option but great if you want a straight desk and something better than the cheap desk tops/something different to the bekant/galant desks.

Any chance you can tell me how deep they are? (Assuming 70cm is the height?) I'm probably looking at getting a 62cm over 72cm worktop so want to make sure the units are at least as deep as 62cm.

Also, anything in particular you used to fit the top to the units?
