hoping to lose the amp in the next few months aswell as upgrade to 2 x 27" monitors Currently testing the new BenQ for gibbo

It's fantastic even without the Freesync.

I've gone from having no desk at for nearly 2 years, to this:

My PC is tucked under the desk as it's ugly, noisy and needs some upgrades. Plenty of room on the desk for a HP microserver, and a Phanteks Evolve

that looks like a very nice sturdy desk you've got . plus you get to watch the fish while waiting for loading times

im awaiting a solid 2m piece of oak to arrive tomorrow to finish off my dream desk with ideas stolen from this thread.

Did you ever try the 29" Super Wide? How do you feel the height of the monitor is in terms of real estate height not physical height?

Not tried the 29" super wide.

The height is fine (the monitor sitting in its place before was 2560X1440P), its the damn width, its so wide you have to turn your head to see both sides of the screen, this will take some getting use to.

That 2nd one is a 24" 1080P "normal" sized monitor. It does look pathetic next to the beast doesn't it.

Hehe, well as problems go it's one I'd like to have, I'm still stuck on 2 ancient 22" screens until I save up a bit more cash and some more FreeSync screens get released.
