I'm going to try and put together a download. Probably of around 50mb or so full of icons, wallpapers and the latest file sets to make your pc's look like macs.

Hopefully will be okay for those I haven't been able to dig up scripts etc cuz of my corrupt backups.

Will try and put it up tonight or tomorrow :)

Thanks Dru. That would be Great :D :D :D :D

What the address then???

I presume he's referring to FlyakiteSP2 which is here. It replaces system files like shell32.dll with its own versions which include Mac icons.

What it doesn't do is give you a Mac dock, menu bar, shadows under windows, stuff like that - but it depends how close to the Mac look you want to achieve and how much time/work you want to put into achieving it :)

Run the installer and you can choose exactly what you want to change - then the installer will do it all for you :)

btw in case it isn't obvious, you NEED to have XP SP2 installed first.

Thanks dirtydog.
Have installed all files using the 'Custom' settings.
Everything seems to be working ok.
Thanks.:D :D :D

yeah, sorry, been busy with work all morning.
i was refering to Flyakite. I started using it yesterday because its free and its easy, just click a few buttons, and dont worry about seriously messing up XP...whcih i've done in the past when changing boot screens and login screens!

is there something else which will install all of the system files and the shell, and also give the dock, menu and the rest of that stuff?
if there is i wouldnt mind a link, and i'll switch later on...as i want a mac...just cba spending all that money on something that i've never even used before...

Nope :( Not afaik. You'll have to do it the hard way, if you want to do it - get Objectbar and YzDock, get the themes and icons then install & configure them to your liking.

edit - I also used IconPackager and WindowFX (but you could use YzShadow which is freeware). Oh and Windowblinds.
