Oh another question - there are two entries for CPU temp in MBM (yep I'm trying to get that sorted aswell now... addictive as hell this samurize). Which one should I use? One comes up as the 'diode' whatever that is? Where are the two sensors on the motherboard located? Is one 'under' the processor?

Hmmm... I don't use MBM for my temp. What you can do is just try out a sensor and see if it returns a sensible temp

Well one CPU value is only like 2 degrees higher than my case temp, and the other one is 9 degrees higher. I will go with the higher one, not that I really care about temps... I just like the fact you can see it. It's all for poser value... shocking really.

I have finished it finally, am just looking into ways of getting a picture on the board? What is the best way to go about this? Something like picturebucket?

What method do you use hottiger for your temps?

I host my pics on my own webspace. But you could try ImageShack or this.

For my temps, I have an Asus mobo. I use a plugin for Asus probe which is Asus's program for monitoring temps.

Very nice mate. Also to further customize your desktop you can use a program called IconPackager to change system icons and also you can use different themes

Yup, just go to Stardock.com There are also other apps you can use, such as changing your cursor, bootskin etc

For icons sets and other things you can go to wincustomize.com

pressed print screen then paste into photoshop and nothing happens

is it b/c my resolution is too big ? 1600 * 1200 over dual monitors - 3200 * 1200 res !

That's easy. Do this:

In the editor, Right click -> add text. In the General tab select Allow Meter-Linkage. Underneath where it says "Link Meter To" select the program location.

To add a picture, go to Edit Graphics -> Add Background Object -> Add Image -> Choose your image. Then, drag the text file you created over it so that the width/height of the text file is the same as the image. (The text file and image should be in the same place, i.e. one on top of the other) Then remove any text.

Save and reload your config and now you have a picture which when you click will open a program

Couple of teething problems...

First, the listings dont seem to update when they should. In the config editor I have the update interval set to 5 (which i presume is minutes) under the global settings in the source menu, but im sure it doesnt update as it should.

Secondly, the progress bar which shows you how long a prog has left seems to 'forget' its configuration strangely. I have each one configured to the channel which it represents, but when i look at the bars they are all the same length! Then I go back into the editor and they are all set to 'look' at the program details for just BBC1.

Weirdness abounds... anyone got any ideas?

I use the TV stuff imported into my Luna VX one and although the programs update as they should the progress bars just dont work at all and ive never managed to make them work...

1. Afaik you can't set the update time for the listings. Its every 5 minutes.
2. You need to point each text file to its downloaded text file, e.g. BBC1 to BBC.txt, bbc2 to bbc2.txt
