Desktops!!

hi!!

i was bored so i made some changes to my samurie folder tonight to make it more organised. the only thing is i cant be bothered to relocate all my icons and put them in the right place for them to work. so youll either need to link to your own icons (for exmaple in the labels script) or ask me for mine.

other than that all of them will work straight out of the box so to speak lol

im gonna mail them to matrix so itll be up to him when its all available

firstly yeah ill write a read me for that samurize folder. in a few minutes probably.

as for the themes...illl send a few to matrix but some of them i cant send as theyre modded and cant be redistributed

is that okay??

Call me stupid, but is there a way i can copy the entire folder without having to copy each item individually ?

you can just copy the samurize folder over the top of the your samurize folder. itll ask if you wish to overwrite just say yes

If you could zip it all up and then host the .zip file that would be great

you can only dload the full folder anywayz??!

right click on Uberskilleds Samurize folder and go to save target as...

then you need not dload everything individually

**edit** (again)

i thought he had anywayz cuz it was already zipped up. my apologies i should've told matrix to host the zip

Thats what i though, but when i save target on the folder all i get is a .html page rather than all the files. Doesnt matter if i select all files from under file types as i get the same thing. Most odd.

Here comes the questions, LOL.

I've update the weather cpu net pod config with the correct area, but its still showing grimsby. Does it cash info, or is there something else i need to do to get it to update. I've got the net, cpu part etc working fine.

What exaxtly does the remote milk do ? I've got it up and running and when you click on the buttons the big icons such as eject etc appear in the middle of the screen, but the thing itself doesnt seem linked to any medai player. Is there something else im meant to have running ?

The volume control works fine. I actually am starting to feel like im getting somewhere.

the grimsby thing is a txt box. just click it and change it to your town. i did it like that cuz uk doesnt fit on properly

Thanks got it working now.

Whats the story with the remotemilk config, what does it do. It doesnt seem to link to anything. The only thing that i see that works on it is the volume control.

its just a remote for foobar or itunes. it doesnt display track information or anything like that. however it can be modded to do so

I cant seem to get it to work with iTunes, i take it i need to configure it in some way to work with it.
