Desktops!!

silly question, but i have never used samurize b4 - i want to use it tho as it looks awesome!:D - does it use a lot of resources to run?

Uses the least amount of resources I've seen in such a small program, but is incredibly flexible moreso then any desktop customisation prog I've seen. If you're adept or even experienced with windows and comps in general - its config program will scare the crap out of you unless you read the tutorial :D

I dropped resource hungry vb based Smartbar XP for this, and won't ever return.

I can sort of get it to work if you point the play/pause, forward etc buttons directly at the unPod/iTunesControl exe's but the bezelizer stops working.

When I start my machine up it updates but nothing changes until the 2nd update which is 5-10mins later.

Anyway to update it then display the new updated info instead of the old information.

Here's mine as it is at the moment, not all to interesting really and i haven't change the Samurize script since i changed wallpaper so it doesn't look quite right at the moment.

BeatMaster, whereabouts can you pick up that TV script and the icons/images ?

I've got Uberskilled's white theme going a bit here on my desktop, but really wouldnt mind getting a TV config up and running.

You can pick both of these up on the Samurize website. I would have given you the exact links but the site doesn't seem to be working here.

Im trying to get the uktv script to work but i keep getting a subscript out of range : [number 2] when ever i try to test the script. Its also not generating the uktv.txt file, or am i actually meant to create it.

Im not having any luck with the bbc news config/script either.
 
When your PC boots up and loads Samurize, it will update automatically and execute all the scripts.

Is there something in particular that isnt working?
 
Thought i post the fruits of my labour (and mostly thanks to Uberskilled).

I cant get a TV scheduler to work for the life of me. I've tried a few different ones. Obviously just doing something daft.
