Yeah, handful of people are back. Still far fewer than release, and way less than D1. Overall exp is fun, but pretty much feels like any other exp. Limited content and massive grind to gain light levels. Escalation Protocal has promise, but so far I’ve not found many doing it, might be because the light level is so high.
To get past the 1st and 2nd phases of EP you have to hope that:
- A few randoms are about and actually capable of hitting the broadside of a barn..
- Someone doesn't waste the Valkyrie on the first lot of Thrall (it is on a timer to will take a while to return during a round)
- Enemies die... FAST
- Everyone has heavy for the boss - yes well done blueberry, you created ONE orb taking out those thrall with a rocket... Now you are left with your primary against the Ogre... Can I get a slow clap here!!
On a more serious note Linear fusions and especially Sleeper help to melt the bosses, at least in the first two stages.

Haha Oweo, I know the feeling. For late wave EP, you really need at least 6 of you, ideally 9, in the same instance. 2 titans for melting point + tractor cannons, 2 tether hunters and the rest nova warlocks. Then stack void damage, tether makes orbs for the novas and when the boss comes up the titans get their de-buffs in, then nova bomb all the things. Most of the bosses melt in ~10 secs and we've come so close to 1 phasing the wave 7 boss.
Yup they said it's aimed at an organised group of 3 with 380+ gear plus a bunch of rando's.

Think I'm still at 325 or whatever the old cap was. Anybody fancy either Wednesday night or weekend destiny goodness? I feel the need to hurl random abuse coming back.... Fond memories of throwing **** nades and listening to people throwing their dinner on the floor....
