It's a good group and we all try to just have fun whilst kicking seven shades of **** out of Aetheon.

I think we all have a basic / good understanding of what needs to happen at each stage.

My only problems are; running out of ammo for my Suros and the jumping puzzle. Despite being a Warlock I have not managed it without face planting hard against the wall....

Oh and I also play the guy who trys to melee everything... Thank god for Flame shield... :o
 
Flame shield is great for doing a Sir Robin, get in trouble? Just smack something and run away :)

I hope someone knows the way though, cos I don't yet!

How much of Hard mode can you do without 30s? Is it just Atheon that's really tough without mostly 30s?
 
OK who fancies a double normal raid run tomorrow? Just cba with Hard when theres little I need other than the raid fusion - prefer to have people that have characters over level 27 with decent weapons.

Say 7.30

Confluxes and Atheon (perhaps even the bit right after the Gatekeeper too) are the hard part - theres a chance you just will get through the door and be stuck for a while...

Remember if you arent level 30 you are technically underlevelled so do/take damage as such...

As I don't think I can get the numbers for the run tonight I will join you. I have two Warlocks but they share armour so will have to fart around in the tower between raids but both will (obviously) be level 29. I run sunslinger for the raid but unfortunately don't have self revive on my second yet, thought will blast through as many bounties as I can tonight to see if I can unlock it.

I know where the chest is near the gorgon stare things, there is another one somewhere on the way down that massive drop through the tunnel too. I recall dredds showed me a massive short cut of the whole level but I can't quite remember it. Might come to me when I see it.

Do You know about the cheese bit where you force the mini boss off the ledge with grenades too?

Yup cheese Templar for extra chest. At this point there is no point in NOT cheesing him.

There are two chests on the way down to the Gorgon maze. One is a bit hidden whilst the other is behind an obvious circular door. If we take our time at each drop point we won't miss any.

The method on the Gorgons will be head far right for the chest, wipe and then head the right (well left :p) way.

EDIT: My understanding of <lvl 30 on the raid is the simple fact that you will be doing less damage to & taking more damage from the enemies. The less damage to isn't so much of a problem (more time than anything else) but the taking more damage point is a bigger issue. If you go down (one shot of a HG will basically drop you if there are any other enemies around) you will not respawn until the section is clear.

Yep that pretty much sums it up, hence I'll be playing coward. I have some good weapons, epilogue being one that is good for the raid plus a choice of several exotics for secondary and a few heavies. Shouldn't be a problem and I know what I'm doing on atheon, just jump to the middle pillar with the relic and hold the shield up so everyone else can jump in with me and smash him.

Mores adds, more gorgons, detainment shields but it is the no rez that is the hardest bit well that and as you said the dmg difference.

Yeah I'm good with the Templar cheese, couple of sunsingers have him off in short order. Only my 3rd run so I'm not exactly sure where all the chests are.

Yeah dude more than welcome - we'll make sure half the people use their mains while others are on alts and vice versa to spread the pain - should make the runs chlds play really...

Any spare spaces for friday evening/weekend? lvl 29 titan, maxed out weapons(can hopefully be lv 30 by friday) run normally a good few times and hard mode up til final boss with a few others off here

or if there is plenty of space i have two mates who would join as wel :) both lv 29 - 30.

I'm level 29 Warlock (at least until I get the shards to upgrade my IB armor).

If there are 2 raids going on tonight it might be an idea to rearrange the teams so we get 6 people wanting to do hard mode afterwards on the same team? Then again, it might be too difficult to get that done at this late stage.

Probably a bit of a faff at this stage, I'll just add as many people on here as poss and we can see if the numbers are online after we've done normal.
