So just to update the list...

Thought I'll get a list going seeing as over the last couple of days nothing really came to fruition.

i'm finally a lvl 27 Hunter did lots of Crota missions over the weekend and loved it but still need to team up with you guys.

Really want to have a bash on VoG tonight around 8pm as i've not done it yet. Anyone up to hold my hand this evening and give it a run though on Xbone?

Think as it's the holidays, trying to get a group is hard. Everyone's either away or slow connection from their away visit. It should hopefully be better after the New Year. There's a run planned by Schnippzle for Friday, normal VoG run.

You fancy that? Can try and let you learning the method to tackling that raid.

Make sure between now and then, you work on your guns and have materials available if you're Shards limited, that way you can level up as you pick up shards along the way before Atheon.

I'm not sure on Frodders but Kris is usually on in the evenings, he might be up for it. Will send him a message when I see him on.

i'll definitely be up for Friday - what time is it?

what do i need to get materials wise? i've got 2 legendary weapons and one legendary armour. i spent lots of shards upgrading the legendary armour and now run out - so can't upgrade it any more.

i've found the harder strikes that reward with these materials slightly out of my reach when playing solo.

At Level 27, you should be OK doing the ROC Playlist, that's if you've got the DLC as that's the only playlist now that rewards a cryptarch engram per completion. A better chance of decent drops.

Otherwise, grind the highest playlist you can do for Vangard credit to buy something off the vendors. If you like or good at PvP, that's another one to grind for rep and credit to buy off either the PvP vendors or any of the 3 fractions. You'll need them to be rank 2 at least for armour.

As for the Raid time, no idea yet. We usually do it around 19:30 / 20:00. Keep an eye out closer to date. I'm leaving it up to Schnippzle.

e: Also when I mention materials, I meant Spirit Blooms, Spinmetals, Helium Coils and Red Relic. These can be farmed on patrols and some daily bounties / missions. They are random for every legendary / exotic weapon and armour.

I'm assuming my lvl29 is to low for a hard run?

One or two 29s is OK, as long as everyone is using maxed weapons, and has at least one void weapon for praetorians. If you're 29 and don't have your weapons at 300 you're going to need to be carried.

Tbh at 29 you're best off running Crota's End, the raid armour drops more and starts at l30 before upgrades....easy to grab a few bits from there.

thx. by PvP do you mean Crucible? I am totally terrible at this and don't seem to be able to get many points.

Do all of Eris bounties, the Murmur is awesome.
There's a legendary gloves at the end of her missions, long winded but do-able on your level. The Xyor Earth Patrol is a little hit and miss, if you are lucky and there's a bunch of good randomers, they might carry you through.

Red Relic can be found on Mars, from Chest run around the Fortress Entrance bit, forgot the name, a good loop to do or look for a massive red tree stump looking thing dotted around the planet.

I have the Murmur was excited when i got a legendary

the bounties i tried yesterday but got frustrated with the cursed thralls that you need to melee. if you get your timing wrong and there's two they both explode and you die then reset your count
