Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Square Enix Reveal new Deus Ex)

As I understand it, the 4 Praxis Kit's from the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will be available straight away. Also 5000 Credits which should buy you one also making it 5.

So it is safe to say I will have 11 Praxis Kit's, not 14 like I mistakenly mentioned earlier.

Shame it is unlocking globally at the same time. I actually think that is a good and fair thing, but it should have been much earlier. For people in Australia and New Zealand, the game will basically be released on 24th as a result.
 
Not entirely sure why the X1 and PS4 digital versions unlock at midnight and PC we have to wait til 6pm but whatever! It makes no difference to me, just strikes me as strange?

Are you not concerned that by starting the game with eleven praxis kits, you are potentially reducing the enjoyment you would have otherwise derived from seeking them out in game? Only reason I ask is.because I was considering playing the mobile game in order to acquire some, but was worried that I might be shooting myself in the foot.

Someone posted up earlier that there is something like 90+ praxis points required to completely fill out the tech tree so while 11 is a significant head start, I don't think its completely crazy. I think it's a bit too much for me personally, I didn't order the digital deluxe edition so I've just got the 5 from the mobile game and I'm pretty happy with that amount.

Really? I'd have said it's the complete opposite.

More praxis points early on means if you fancy playing through with a particular style you get to do so more effectively early on instead of having to grind through tough situations.

It was so difficult to do that on the original Deus Ex.

Can someone explain how the mobile game works with granting points in game? I've completed missed it.

I'm somewhat of a sucker for punishment and a completionist to boot, so I'd personally be more inclined to seek out the required kits first, rather than expedite any game play elements. Even if those elements are tough. That said, I didn't realise just how many kits were required, so those gained via the mobile game would be a drop in the ocean.

I normally would not do it, but with the sheer amount of stuff to unlock I am not to bothered. But not just that, mainly there are certain abilities that these extra kits can be used on like energy cells or things that are kind of there to gimp Jensen. You can put like 9 into energy cells I think, so they would be nearly all gone on just that...

Also I do feel I kind of spoilt the game a little already a bit for myself being active in this thread and skimming a few reviews, so I feel like "what the hell" just do it. lol. Next time I will ignore everything completely until I have completed the game :)

It is completely up to you, the mobile game is fun if you like puzzles and will keep you busy until the game unlocks.

Horses for courses really. By not having the extra Praxis points it may encourage you to play the game one more time or something. Like I do remember when in the Human Revolution I first found where the jumping skill would come handy and I was like "okay, need to acquire some praxis kits asap"! There is a certain thrill to that I suppose.
 
While I can sympathize, I cannot empathize. My new graphics card arrives tomorrow, DPD usually deliver around 3pm. It gives me just enough time to get it installed and do a bit of overclocking!
 
thank **** i had a tooth out today got few days off work and get to play this :)

please have nice 21:9 support my 1080 needs a decent game to play as i only play OW atm :(
