Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Square Enix Reveal new Deus Ex)

Just as a heads up if you have Deus Ex GO and are waiting for the 2nd week of challenges to try and get the fifth and final Praxis kit for use in Mankind Divided - if you set your devices date to this Friday you don't have to wait for a new challenge every day, it will unlock all of them immediately.

Andy Kelly reviewed it on a fairly average rig tbf. Can't remember the exact specs but it was only a 970. Didn't seem to have anything particularly bad to say about the performance.

Ah you see Rise of the Tomb Raider took me just over 20 hours, all depends on the game as well it seems! I never really reload saves or experiment like you say above, not on my first playthrough anyway. I tend to just play as organically as possible in games like this. Sort of stealth build but if I get caught out, I don't reload, I continue and play reactively - makes the game more fluid for me.

I see what you mean. Though in some games I just feel like once I have completed the game, or the story portion of it anyway, it sometimes never feels the same again.

An example would be Fallout 4. I spent around 40+ hours before I even started the story portion of the game, and I am happy I did. As since I completed it, there is nothing pulling me back to that game. It was not as good as Fallout 3 for me and the dlc which I never purchased seems poopy :(

VPN won't work. It's a global release.

Unfortunatly this seems like it may be true. I just tried the VPN trick and the timer never changed.

May I ask where you found this out?

Yeah, I did that yesterday and finished everything and got me 5th and last Praxis point :D:o:D:cool::D

As I purchased digital deluxe edition, I wonder if I will get the bonus Praxis points straight away. If I do, plus the day 1 praxis points, I think I will have like 14 Praxis points from the start... lol.

I heard the tech tree is even bigger this time, and 14 praxis points will probably only unlock 3-4 things fully. If it does seem OP, I will just stick the points into less useful things like longer sprint or something :p

Yeah, he probably stayed away from Ultra settings and it run fine. People who are complaining/soon be complaining will be the ones trying to run everything on ultra and 8x MSAA etc :o:p

Why does my £1000+ Titan P not run it maxed out... Waaaaaaah!! Then go ahead and leave the game negative feedback. lol :p:D

Haha 14 points, wow. You can find videos of the entire aug tree on YT.

I'm a little disappointed with the aug/skill tree in that...

it is essentially exactly the same as Human Revolutions with the addition of PEPS/nano blade/Tesla upgrades and of course Blink, sorry 'Icarus Dash' ;)

Nooo... I tried to stay away from that info... lol.

Was hoping it would be better than that. Oh well... :p

Ah screw it, going to go look at the aug tree on youtube now :p:D

****, my bad. Sorry - didn't think that would constitute a spoiler for most! I'll go back and tag it.

Just downloaded on Steam, now mildly frustrated I can't play immediately (yes, I know it's a pre-order). :)

I'm glad they haven't gone crazy with the Aug tree, useful augmentation ahead of a shed load of skills for the sake of it is more important.

Also only 2 years have passed since HR there aren't likely to be major changes in that period from a lore perspective.

I changed the country code on the steam store. Hong Kong is the same as the UK.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/337000/?cc=hk

You can change it to any country, as long as you know the 2 letter country code, by adding '?cc=xx' to the end of a steam store link.

Don't sweat it bro. Not a huge deal, just a preference. My fault for not staying away from this thread :)

I will go edit my post as I quoted you before your edit.

To be honest after looking at the skill tree I am happy. Sure it could have been better, but I suppose they will save those for the next game. I get the feeling we will see one more Deus Ex with Adam Jensen yet.

If you want the game to be 50+ hours just walk really slowly.

Okay...

I think it was a bit obvious I am after a longer story and more content (it has been 5 years), but anyway... :)

Ah I see :)

That's a lot of praxis kits you'll need to max it out! (Not that you ever would)

How does the overclocking work? You have to permanently disable another skill?

Praxis Kits and how I will spend my bonus kits

10 bonus praxis kits do not look like much once you see the tech tree.

5 from Deus Ex Go
1 from Covert Agent Pack
4 Season Pass

Will leave this in a spoiler just in case:

There seems to be over 90 Praxis Kits worth of stuff.

Decided I won't touch things like Social Enhancer, P.E.P.S, Tesla, Wayfinder Radar System, Retinal Prosthesis, Landmark Tracker and Glass Shield Cloaking on my first playthrough.

Going to put my 10 bonus Praxis points roughly something like this:

2 Hacking stuff.
2 Biocells
1 Wall Penetration
2 Strength
1 Nano Blade
2 Cybernetic Leg Prostheses :)

Don't see any of that being game braking :D

Where do you get 14 bonus points from? I know there's 5 from DXGO, what about the other 9?
