Deux Ex: Mankind Divided. DX12, Async shaders and Tress FX 3.0 support at launch.

DX12 with ASync shaders you say? Buying it just for the bench, regardless if the game is good or not, lol.

DX12... the way it's meant to run....

This is by far my most anticipated game. Will probably order it retail from Amazon like last time if they have a Augmented Edition or something. One of the only games I am willing to pay full retail price for. Really enjoyed the last game, they deserve the support :)

Happy about this info. Should run nicely on my 295x2 :p

An older video but looks amazing.
not sure if it will showcase TressFX 3.0 much when the main character's hair is short and doesn't flow at all.

Tbh the same could be said for most games which claim to have realistic hair Spook, Witcher 3 was a prime example for me, had not problems maxing all the Hairworks stuff out on my system, but it still don't look amazing imho.

I'd agree with you though, hopefully we'll get some fantastic looking hair in this game that doesn't wreak performance on either team.

I hope so, As a kid they used to call me Fuzzus because of my hair, Then as a teenager they called me Gnasher because my hair made me look like Dennis the Menaces dog and then I turned on the Hair effects in Far Cry 4 and there's Fuzzus all over again

Lol @ people buying this just for DX12 :)
If you buy games just for DX12 2017 onwards could get really expensive! :D

I own the very first one, can't bring myself to play it these days. Have DE: HR too, which a number of my friends gave said is very good. I'll get around to it one day I expect (yes, I'll play it even though it's not DX12!), then I'll see about this one. Should be cheaper by then too.

What's wrong with buying a game to check out new tech?

Most of the people doing so have £300+ GPUs so the cost of the game isn't an issue.

My money if I willing to take a risk to see what's what then what does that after do with anyone.

Nothing, but why not wait for a game you want to play that has the tech?
Maybe it's just because I rate gameplay over graphics that I'm not tempted by something because of the graphics api.

I don't buy games just because they have PhysX/GameWorks/TressFX/Mantle either. Many a day I've wasted on Football Manager, far more than I have all the Crysis games and Metro games combined.

Each to their own, I just find it funny.

I bought Crysis 1 just for DX10, Same for some of the first games to use DX9 and even DX11, It's what we get these expensive GPU's for, To see new things :)

The Deus ex games have always been highly rated and have great gameplay. You may not like this type of game but many do.

True that. I bought AOTS with no real interest in playing it but just to see what DX12 was about.
