**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

Just got mine today. Overall pretty impressed but as with others, the screen sags forward on the stand. No big deal as I will be making use of a vesa stand.

One thing though, mine came with 2 VGA cables and zero DVI cables... is this normal? One I can understand but 2? And also it means I need to buy a new cable to take advantage of the high resolution.
Did I miss some small print somewhere?

One is dual dvi..? They have the same/similar connections but not all the pins are connected inside.

Try the other cable as your probably using the single..

Thanks for the reply.
The two separate cables bundled in the box are both 15pin VGA cables. Not DVI at all. Is it worth contacting OCUK and inquiring about this?

Oh right sorry obviously didn't read your post correctly, does it say what should come in the box? I'll be receiving mine tomorrow so can post my thoughts and what cables I had, assumed it would/should come with a dual dvi at the least though...

If it doesn't I hope the display port lead on ordered comes aswell, otherwise I cant enjoy 1440p!

Edited to add it would start a thread in cs asking for them, I'm sure there forward you one on.

That's why I thought it strange that a 1440p monitor would be supplied without a DVI-D cable.
Do post what comes bundled in your box tomorrow! As I am quite intrigued.
Cables aside, I am pretty impressed so far with the monitor and a little tinkering has fixed the lean in my monitor :D

Will do mate, I'm sure it should though. Have you used the tweak settings above in the link?

Just sent off a message to Customer Service. So should get an answer soon :)

Aye I have! Make the brightness much more bearable however the darks are a little washed out so will have a play until I'm happy.

cool, yeah the brightness will need to be sorted i've heard, my lg was unbearable out the box being so bright.

Although just checked the tracking info and there might be a one day delay due to 'local flooding' the disadvantages of living in Tewkesbury!

I'm on my second one of these monitors after the first one i got had a blue smudge near the middle of the screen.

I have to say the second monitor is perfect, no marks or dead pixels on anything.

The monitor does tilt in the stand, but you just have to push it back and it sticks in positon. Well mine does anyway. If you knock it you might have to push it back in place though.

The image quality is superb as are the colours. If you're coming from a TN screen you're in a for a pleasant surprise.

Bf3 and Sleeping dogs look great at 1440p.

I can run bf3 full ultra with x2AA and keep solid fps.

Sleeping dogs i can run at the highest settings but SSAA is down from extreme to high. Rarely dips below 50fps. Actually feels smoother than when i had 1080p extreme preset.

Works great for me on Battlefield 3, sleeping dogs, black ops 2 and max payne 3. Hitman im going to get soon.

Had mnine since ocuk got these in, the stand became worse, and wouldnt hold the monitor level, so i got a desk vesa mount off the bay for £29, lot better now:

Which mount is that. Looks good for the price. Can you PM me the link please :P

PS, what is the best connection type for this monitor you guys think? DVI cable provided I am assuming.

Will be using it with my laptop for the time being, thinking of ordering the mini display-port cable here. Any issues with this?

matt geive metro 2013 a wirl at 1440p its just silly. Turn tesselation off as it makes my 670 cry at 1440p

Just set it up using the calibration settings and ICC profile in the above link and its seems great, haven't really testing it but it seemed alittle washed overpowering straight out of the box, the LG it sits next to looks like crap now though! :D

I have a small question regarding the resolution...
I have a laptop with HDMI output, and afaik if I connect this monitor to my laptop, I will achieve only 1920x1080 as maximum resolution, am I right? And what if I use a HDMI to DVI/LP cable, will it be the same?

Thanks in advance.
