Received my monitor, was told by Overclockers my graphics card (1950XT) would not work with this and i would need to purchase another one :mad:

Out of interest i tried and that's what i am typing this on now, even after i stated the connections on my old card.

Don't get me wrong i stated i wanted to use this for mostly excel / word / editing with gaming every so often but to say it would not work at all makes me abit annoyed especially when i was considering what to upgrade on my rig.

Anyway, great image over my old Samsung 22" and glad i got it at £300.

Sure it will come up again at that price guys.
 
Can enyone please tell me, if I purchase a Display Port Cable (looking at OCUK Value 3m), will I see the bios at boot up, can i get into the bios using this cable?

A couple of times a month they come down to £299-£312, so your just have to wait for that...

I can't see how your upset as your the one that missed the deal..

Rounj02, why buy a 1440p monitor when you can only display at 1080? seems like a waste of money when you can get a 27' 1080p for half the price..unless your going to upgrade?

I can buy a catleap for less if i want to.
Its a discussion forum about monitors,im simply saying i know of 4 sales lost because of the price increase.
Why have you a problem with that?

If you read the pages before your post you would see you could ring up overclockers and ask them there best price..

If you keep your eyes peeled the price might change, chances are it will be on a deal next week.. Or like I said give then a bell.

They have dropped the price to £312 for some people when they have phoned up, give it a try you've got nothing to loose in trying..
 
I can display at rull res with my current setup, but it would struggle with games etc.

Planning upgrade in the next week i5 and a HD7970 hopefully will be able to play games at that res maybe not everything max.

Did for me and at least one other member that i know.

I rang up and said I missed out on the TWO deal and could I have it at that price a few days later. He put me on hold and went to ask and the answer was yes.

Okay, that's not price matching, just asking whether they would still sell one at TWO price.
