**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

After spending a week or two looking at Korean 1440p monitors, I decided that I would really prefer a solid warranty of more than one year. I found the DGM, with it's three year UK based warranty and just this morning decided that if it drops below £300, I'll treat myself.

Move over Mystic Meg, there's a new kid in town and he's called OcUK.

just got myself one of these
was planning to buy one next week when my new credit card arrives but for 300 +postage had to whack it on my debit card

not sure how ocuk knew i wanted this monitor and 16gb ram but glad they put them both on offer

all i need now is somebody to point out a good vesa mount for me

At £299 this monitor is a must have if you're on a budget. The picture quality, colour vibrancy and accuracy is top notch.

The only bad part about it is the stand is a bit weak.

As tempting as it is at that price, the stand looks rubbish and I really want one that has height ajustment, so I'm going to pass on the DGM. Have my eye on a couple of other monitors that match my needs better.

stand looks pants hence why i will put it on a good stand which i can always keep for my next monitor after too

Im using the stand right now - it is SUPERB

Really strong, fantastic build quality, can adjust it quite easily :)

a quality stand seems like a wise investment as I doubt theyll ever change mounting holes so something like this should last well beyond the life of one monitor

Just got mine, it arrived 2 minutes into the allotted delivery slot - nice one!

I have to say, it is very good - no dead or stuck pixels and major acerage compared to the 4:3 19" monitor I had before.

BTW, the BIOS comes up fine on my venerable HD3850 card with DVI

Full days use out of it so far...PoE, Blops 2 look great! General web use is fantastic, loving the additional real estate. The glossiness of the screen is also a big plus.

Not sure why there is so much hate for the stand...seems fine. Maybe people have wobbly/unstable desks, which make it worse???

good to hear as i will be removing the stand as soon as my vesa mount arrives

I've just received my screen and it's forced my hand in regards to getting a mount... that and it won't fit on my desk with my other monitor.

I will edit this post a little later with a mini review but for the time being, I'll just say a few things.

1. I can't find any dead or stuck pixels so far.
2. The backlight seems to be consistent across the screen. There are no splotchy patches of light.
3. The stand is everything people have said it is... apart from the people who say you can't adjust it. You can tilt the screen but that's it.
4. The bezel looks pretty good. If I was being hyper picky, I would say that it's a bit distracting when what's on-screen reflects on the part of the bezel that meets the screen (You can just hear the big baby crying. Wah... this great screen as a very minor, tiny, tiddly design flaw, sort of. WAH!!!!). As long as the screen is at the right angle though, it's not something that jumps out at you.
5. Buttons! It's so nice to have a screen with actual buttons rather than touch sensitive buttons.
6. The colours are good out of the box but the brightness needs turning down.
[EDIT] 7. Apparently the whites on my old monitor were actually a greyish yellow. Everything on the DGM looks so much more luminous (without glowing). It's crisp and vivid. It brings into sharper focus how good the £299 price tag was... especially when OcUK's handling of any warranty claims is taken into account.

Oh, I almost forgot. I'm using an Asus GTX 670 TOP and while the BIOS boot screen doesn't display the POST screen does. The screen is a tiniest bit slower to boot than my LG W2363D but again I'm nitpicking.

And, a special mention for OcUK. To think I almost didn't place my first ever order after reading some of the bad reviews. Three years later and the service is still top notch.

[EDIT] Wow!... the speakers are worse than the stand! Even when my Nokia N95, a phone that is five years old, is in my pocket it sounds clearer than these speakers and it's louder too!

got mine today
the power brick doesn't work tried a few other kettle leads no joy the blighter doesn't light up so presume its dead

the stand is so flimsy as I type this on my working monitor i can see the DGM flailing about

desk made of paper? :p

x2. Either a paper desk, or a trampoline floor!

I've got mine next to a Samsung SyncMaster B2430 and both wobble about equally if I pound the desk with my fist.

For normal, everyday use (i.e. typing on a keyboard/using a mouse) the DGM stand is absolutely fine.

Tempted, even though current price quite a bit higher than price in subject.

Not sure whether to go for this or a 27" or 24" 1920x1080 for ~ half the price.

these modern IPS 2560*1440's urinate all over the best dell could over 5 year ago with IPS, smoother and more colorful.
