**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

It seems to vary from card to card. I have a 7970 and can see my post screen usinmg DVI-D.

Equally beforew I put my 7970 in I had a gtx470 and that worked as well.

Well worth trying especially since you got a lead with the screen didn't you?

Just tried the DVI, same as the HDMI, screen kicks in a the log in screen

Bought one a few months ago - Upgrade from a 24" PVA 1920 x 1200 panel.

Extra acreage and pixels well worth it.

I paid £350'ish and thought it a bargain so at £300 it's def. happy xmas time :)

How does the 27" IPS compare to the 24" VA?
The VA has better blacks, I presume?
Having spent £300+ on going from 24" VA to 27" IPS, do you think its been worth it?

Better blacks? - Age gets in the way now as I can hardly remember what they looked like on the 24":o They do look ok to me now.

The main thing I noticed with the new monitor and notice every time I use it is its size (I've no idea how I used to manage with only 24" - never mind 15"crt etc)
The extra pixels/Ips panel do , in my eyes, appear to make the picture sharper and more vibrant.:)

Was it worth it ?

Without doubt yes ! - I use it every day and every time I use it , it makes me happy :D
I am a believer that monitor upgrades are the best , unlike others when you only see the benefits , if you see them at all, intermittently.

Only downside - if you can call it that- is that you will probably have to upgrade your gpu ( I went to an Asus 7950 Top which copes well:))

inferno what performance do you get with those cards and x3 dgm monitors ? game wise etc?

well i only use 1 GTX 670 OC'd highly.

I only play games on 1 screen since triple screen gaming is a gimmick which makes you worse at the game IMO.

Sometimes i run different games on each screen, BF3 and WoW and some other stuff on the 3rd for example. All pretty fine as long as the one im not playing currently is set to low graphics i can set the other to ultra.

cheers,

could you do a test for me though?

could you try bf3 running on all three with low graphics and see what the fps is like?

What makes you say that? I thought it would be useful, more likely to see people to the side of you surely?

nope, serious fps gamers would be playing on small 120hz screens like i used to when i played competitively, triple screen is slow and a gimmick in terms of competitive play. Ill never use it even though i can, you shouldnt have to physically turn your head around to see things, slow reactions

Seriously dude try it, triple screens is a benefit in FPS (OK other than highly competitive) for most who play public it adds to the immersion and really does help being able to see to the sides. You don't have to turn ur head to see things, things catch ur attention in the edge of your vision and save ur life. As soon as I can get back to triple screens I would for FPS, it's just awesome.
