Diablo 3 (Console versions)

Also which one of you guys died to some creature with scythe like hands. It teleported in to my game and hunted my ass down until it nailed me lol! I nearly defeated it as well, was down to 15% health which was annoying!

Tell me about it, it was the 2nd night I got home from work and had a 'quick game' only to find 6 hrs had past and it was gone midnight.

Really enjoying it, I played the PC version a fair bit but this is so much better, the Nemesis thing is really good, I like the scaling so you can play with friends no matter what the level and the drops for friends is a nice addition.. have a feeling that many hours will be spent this weekend on it!
 
Is there ever any point in buying any equipment from the merchants?

The loot drops seem to be so frequent and are better than the stuff the merchants have on offer.

Also, does the game get any harder as you go through the acts? I've started on normal and have nearly completed Act I and don't seem to take any damage. I was starting to think I'd accidentally entered a cheat code or something.

Easier normal modes are a walk in the park. I started on Expert, more xp, more loot, more gold and more fun.
 
Normal Mode was great for getting my unseasoned missus into Diablo.

Now she's seasoned, we start straight on Expert when we run new characters. If she had started any higher earlier, she might have given up in frustration.
 
I have played this game a lot on PC and picked it up on the xbone, i must say this has been ported over amazingly, the controls are great, the gfx are great and it so far seems a solid 60fps great job blizzard.

Absolutely nothing.

Its literally loot that drops that is labelled "Gift for Xire01" you right click and send it to the person.
