Diablo 3 (Console versions)

Gifts are always welcome :D

Speaking of gifts, if anyone on Xbox One wants an extra person to get gifts from, feel free to add my wife - LynniePitch. She's a bit fed up of not getting gifts while I get them fairly often :D

Done!

My wife: GT: 'Zachary Quack' is in exactly the same boat. We've finished the game together, she's level 70 and other than 1 gift I got her she's not received anything.

Got this through on my first rental from Boomerang.

Having never played a Diablo game or any game similar to it any tips to a nooby?

My view is that Diablo III is one of those games you'll want to play multiple times. So don't worry about making boobs on the first run, you'll figure out your own tips to try as you play.

Also switch on the mode that allows you to assign any skill to any button, elective mode I think it's called. That way you are not limited to specific sets.

I wouldnt recommend that for a newbie, just go with what they suggest then once they've got to level 60 use elective mode. They'll end up getting confused or missing skills otherwise.

Completed Act I - it took longer than I expected. The demo was only a small portion it seems. Normal difficulty is too easy I'm finding so far. Haven't died once. Witch Doctor was amusing at first but I'm not sure I've picked the right character. It's getting a bit stale shall I say.

Also, how does the weapon work with a character like the Witch Doctor that doesn't seem to use them. I'm throwing fireskulls as my primary attack so does that mean my weapon is just for decoration? :D

I always play on Expert and above. It can be tricky for the first hour or so but once you are ~level 15 it isn't too bad :)

And yes on the Witch Doctor you don't actually 'use' your equipped weapon. I'd say Witch Doctor and Demon Hunter are the hardest to use as they don't have that much armor. I like to stand in the middle of all the enemies and use area of effect attacks :D Also the Wizard is pretty fun

I have a WD and love it, it takes time to get used to but once in lvl 70 with proper items is really fun. On the other hand, if you like to be tanky go with crusader/barb/monk... I enjoy the pet build of the WD at lvl 70.

You do not "use" your weapon in the attack animation but your weapon Damage and stats affects the amount fo damage done by your attacks no matter if it "use" the weapon or not.

I think it's only gotten stale because the fights are over in a few seconds. I have three zombie dogs and a gargantuan zombie plus my follower all chipping in which doesn't leave me to do a lot else. :D I'm going to up the difficulty tonight when I continue with Act II.

We were just playing a game of coop and discovered a rainbow world full of teddy bears and unicorns! Am uploading a video on my Facebook now lol.

Yeah, I just had that, too. Not sure what the purpose is, just seems to be a bit of a colourful diversion if you should choose it.

So, how do you get the Jeweler trAined past level 10? He needs some potion which I haven't got.

Can't remember what the item/material is called, but it should start dropping from enemies after level 61
