Diablo 3 (Console versions)

Completed Act I - it took longer than I expected. The demo was only a small portion it seems. Normal difficulty is too easy I'm finding so far. Haven't died once. Witch Doctor was amusing at first but I'm not sure I've picked the right character. It's getting a bit stale shall I say.

Also, how does the weapon work with a character like the Witch Doctor that doesn't seem to use them. I'm throwing fireskulls as my primary attack so does that mean my weapon is just for decoration? :D

look out for a "tall mans finger" legendary ring which will turn you're little zombie dogs into a massive damage dealing monster. it does most damage when combining 4 zombie dogs, then just stack +% zombie dog damage on your gear and fire/poisen depending on which element dog skill you use. it's quite a god mode as it hits for 70mil-350mil crit damage hehe :)

another fun build requires the carnevil voodoo mask which make your fetish army all shoot poisen darts, combine that with zunni 4 set (fetish army stays up until they die) plus a massive poisen dog!

actually lots of great WD builds,

So I've been playing this with a mate for a couple of months now on local co-op using my Xbox 360. We both have decent gear and level 70 characters with paragon level twenty something.

He has decided he wants to get an Xbox One which I also have at home. Now I know that I can just export my save but as he has an offline profile on my X360 is he basically out of luck with regards to transferring his save?

So put in a few hours so far, finding the last piece to the broken sword.

I started campaign on normal difficulty but am finding it a bit to easy, health hasn't even dropped to half and it's all a bit button mashy. Is it possible to increase difficulty without starting a new game?

Also everywhere I read online everyone Says you want to do multiple play throughs? Given I've never ever replay games, have tried but get board replaying stuff and just cant mange to do it. Do things change in next play throughs?

Also how long is the campaign?

Good game so far, I only selected normal as is the first time playing this type of game.

Yup he needs Xbox Live to export his save.

I always play on Expert and above. Normal is way too easy, plus it takes forever to get XP.

Can't say personally how long it took for me to do the campaign (I've completed it 3 times so far) as I went back and re-did bosses etc to get more loot and XP. But you can see the average completion time here: http://www.howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=17491

The game is more about character levels than the actual story, as once you get to level 60 (standard version) or level 70 (Reaper of Souls) you unlock paragon points. You can then go up to paragon level 800 (and above) :p

It's all about the phat loot

If you're playing Reaper of Souls on PS3/X360 then it's also level 70 before paragon.

I must have played around 60 hours and only now just realised you can tick something in the options to map any magic button to any button (so say take 3 powers from your "O/R1" spells for example). Man this makes my characters miles stronger! :D

Finished the campaign, good game.

I can see why people continue playing as a lot more options become available when you increase the difficulty. Plus co-op looks great;

Was messing around with the challenge modes I think it was and thought why not give torment 6 a bash, cant be that bad right. Well I died from a single blow from a spider :)

I only got it as a rental so will not be replaying, but glad I did give it a go.

Edit: Also I reached level 70 in my first play through, sure I read somewhere you can only get to 30/40 in first play through?

Just got this on PS4 and have to say I'm liking the feel of it. Sitting back on the couch and relaxing is definitely the way to play it. I really liked it on PC, had multiple characters, but sitting at my desk and the constant mouse clicking was doing me in.

Quick question: Is the difficulty changed at all between the console and PC versions? I've only just started playing and I'm already on Expert as my Wiz is completely smashing through everything. I always struggled on Expert with new characters. Maybe it's just the ranged Wiz setup as I remember my Crusader really struggling to survive on Expert, even Hard with some bosses, despite having early Legendaries.

Level 30 after first playthrough was back when you had Normal/Nightmare/Hell/Inferno, and had to progress through each difficulty to unlock the next.

Yeh I played it for a while on 360 when it had that difficulty structure, and after a fairly long sesh, I only got to level 27 (Demon Hunter).

After much less time on PS4 (RoS), with the PC difficulty structure, I was over level 40 :D

Just got this on Xbox One after putting many hours in on PC.

GT is: r0tten ray (zero not an 'o') if anyone wants to add me for gifts. I'm currently working my way through the campaign to unlock the real game :p

I will backtrack through this thread and add any GTs I see!

I've played this on the Xbox 360, recently got it on Xbox One.

It seems my D3 UEE RoS didn't automatically upload / export to SEN, my Xbox One version can't find or import any saves. Anyone had similar issue?

Already traded in the game so can't do it on the 360 :(
