** Diablo 4 Thread **

I wasn't comfortable with people thinking they're safe when they're not, so I made a point of flagging that situation.
And I for one very much appreciate that, I only wish my 6 decades on the planet had enabled me to be aware of the situation on my own musings, thankfully though you've brought it to my attention and all is under control now.

Well, once again the internet is a disappointment. Enjoy getting ripped off.
Hehe, please stop. Ok, excuse me for spending 80 quid on a game that will give me thousands of hours in the next 10 year or so. Sure, ok, to be brutally honest, I'll spend 10 quid on a premium battle pass every season for the upcoming 10 years.

So, the battle passes, 4 times a year, tenner each, that is 40 quid a year, over 10 years, that's 400 quid. Mate, that's like having to replace 2 tyres on my Mini Cooper. So yeah, I can live with that. I think the grip will cost me a lot more.

I'll also say this though, hit me up bro, and I mean it, let's talk it out. I'm not hating on you. I've been through *****, let's chest it out!

4 pages of useless dialogue... just stop replying to that guy.

Only time I've felt the pull of mtx was warframe and poe. Warframe wasn't so much about the mtx but supporting the devs for a game who's success I thought was worth supporting.

Poe on the other hand... well same rationale, but then they just kept bringing out cool looking stuff and I have spunked a lot more than I should have on it. But the difference is I have more disposable income than I used to.

Blizz will be getting little to none of my cash for mtx. They should choose one or the other - upfront sales, or f2p with mtx. Not double dipping like this.

Well bugger, I'd talked myself out of diving in at release and waiting to see how things are, but a bit of a gap has opened up now from my arpg itch and I'm swaying back the other way again. Basic edition will do me, I'm in no rush to fly through the story and there seemed to be enough customisation in the game already to satisfy the need for cosmetics.

Mate, 6 decade, the ultimate put down. Respect to you my man.

So good to see people like you on here, mate, you've been through it all.

Pre-loading now, but got to repaste my GPU ready for D4. I thought the fans ramping up to max on the beta was something to do with the game, but since found it doing the same in other games even under light loads.

Watched a couple of reviews, all looking very positive so far and (fingers crossed) looks like we're going to have a solid release.

Not read any reviews, did they have access to the season pass and shop, just out of interest? I know with Immortal it wasnt in the review version.

So, the day before early access launch : what’s everyones choice of class for their first character/build ?

I’m still undecided between lightning Sorc and melee Rogue. I’ve even thought about rolling with a Druid, accepting that early game will be a grind with payoff in the end game.

But the part I’m looking forward to the most is the MTX cosmetic shop. Ok, sorry, that last bit isn’t true :p :D:p

I'll probably roll with rogue for solo and sorc for teaming up with my friends when we're all playing.

Season 1 won't be miles off so I can always play a different class then :)

Going with the old favourite the Barb for the first play through. I've heard their leveling is slow going but will be taking my time with experiencing it all pre-season anyway. Looking forward to playing more of all the classes tbh which is rare! Anyone planning to start the OcUK clan?
