For some reason I’m not feeling the Spiritborn, played to lvl 30 and have switched over to a rogue - may give the new class another try later on.

Have gave up also tonight for now as the game kept locking me out of the DLC saying I didn’t own it…seems to be a problem for some.

Just played it for an hour this morning and Level 10 SB and already feel like an end game class hah.

Complete difference between the start of DB when it first came out and now.

Early days, I know, but already this season feels like a slog compared to the last one. Feels more grindy overall. I've gone with a ( quill volley ) Spiritborn, but it feels like a poor man's flurry rogue. I'm sure some of that lack of "oomph" isn't class specific - it will be partly due to the Blizz's reworking/compression of stats & damage output. If it wasn't for the fact I've paid money for this expansion I think I'd be bailing out already, just as I did with S3.

What are people's thoughts so far? Are the changes good enough to warrant picking up the xpac at the moment? I'm on the fence, I like Diablo, but 4 felt so undercooked when it came out it put me off a bit and I only played a couple of seasons

I'd say no, from what I've seen so far. This expansion hasn't really added anything new, in fact, it has undone some of the positive enhancements the last two seasons brought.

Just wait until you reach lvl 20+. Cracks in the levelling experience begin to show. I'm sure it will be better balanced at end game, but the lvl 1-60 grind is back to being as dull as it was in S1. Another example of Blizz making it more grindy is with the battlepass rewards ... I'm lvl 48 and have only unlocked 6 tiers. In previous seasons I'd have unlocked about 40 tiers by now.

how does this work my level 100 is a level 50 ok fair enough I get the whole squish thing my bro logs in he has a level 67 druid but is also level 50. So unfair lol
Yup, there are a lot of disgruntled folk on the eternal realms. All previous lvl 100 characters have been reduced to lvl 50 ( out of 60 ) and items have been reduced in power.

Another thing about this expansion : anyone else find the mob density in the new region to be too high ? I can barely walk an inch without being mobbed by a crowd of monsters, and they keep on respawning within seconds. Basically means you have to saddle up on your horse and run to your next destination ... trying to fight your way there is an exercise in futility. Also stumbled across several bugged side quests that can't be completed. Methinks this expansion needed more polish before release.
