** Diablo 4 Thread **

Another thing about this expansion : anyone else find the mob density in the new region to be too high ? I can barely walk an inch without being mobbed by a crowd of monsters, and they keep on respawning within seconds. Basically means you have to saddle up on your horse and run to your next destination ... trying to fight your way there is an exercise in futility. Also stumbled across several bugged side quests that can't be completed. Methinks this expansion needed more polish before release.
They've taken it too far? I feel like the loudest people in the Diablo community spent the last year moaning about how mob density was far too low at release and during the first few seasons. I've not played yet the expac yet, but this sounds like the opposite direction.

It's just the new region, nowhere else has had density buffed. There's literally about 30 mobs around you constantly.

Anyone else have problems loading into houses etc? Just has the loadign screen and does nothing.
I've not had any issues with the game at all.

I jumped on this morning for the first time since its release but have seen there has been a few patches also.

Today there was a 200/300mb update when I logged in to fix stability issues so maybe this will help.

Enjoying the new DLC at the moment, will see how that goes later on. One thing I am looking forward to is trying the party\grouping search as I missed this a lot from D3 and it kept me playing for ages as this was better than doing everything solo

Yeah only happens on certain purple quests. Hopefully ok today.

I'm looking forward to playing this tomorrow with the boys. The upside to us not having time to start until Friday means we skip the initial launch issues.

I assume we're all going Spiritborn, we're not exactly going to have class balance!

Yeah I'm liking spiritborn too. Certainly feels over powered during early levels compared to other classes. End game should be interesting
I am level 30 and the mobs are starting to take more hits than earlier in the game.

Anyone following any level guides?

I am currently just doing the story mode for the expansion and started it at the DLC not from the beginning.

Is it worth jumping back in without expansion, any noticeable changes to game play since season 2

Loads of changes since season 2.

Level cap is now 60, not 100 making it much faster to reach "end game"

The previous 3 difficulty tiers are gone, now replaced by 4 "standard" difficulties for the campaign/1-60 experience (normal, hard, expert and penitent) and 4 torment tiers (endgame) with increasing difficulty and reward.
Paragon boards are now capped at 5, points start at 60 and there are 328 total points available (effectively an almost endless level system as reaching cap is a long process)
The loot system has been completely changed and now makes way more sense, there's also extensive crafting changes with multiple upgrade paths for items.

The expansion adds a new class, a rune system, a group raid encounter along with several other end game activities to name but a few.

Thanks for the expansion overview will try the bae game first and see if it will be worth for me to get the expansion .

TBH I wish they had left the level cap at 100 as there's so much to do. I'm nearly lev 50 now and feel like I've barely scratched the surface, although I might change my mind when I see what it's like past the 60 cap.
