If I ever get in the game I was going to try necromancer first but I've changed my mind to druid now relying on AI for DPS seems like a bad idea
Always knew it would be that way, pet classes just dont do it for me in rpgs, aside from the fact that I find all those minions clogging up the screen annoying (even worse in games where you can have like 20 minions) I just find pet classes a bit easy, definitely more of a melee fanplayed for an hour ish, necro too ez, really boring game overall
Thats a lot of crashes in just 15mins, bearing in mind that I havent crashed once in 25 hours of play. What hardware are you running on?After the "game corrupt" crash I got in again for ~15 mins until I got "out of memory" crash. Those 15 mins seemed pretty good. The 2 crashes in 15 mins of play time is not so good.
Well.. got to play an hour or so then got disconnected.. trying to log back in got me an error code (316719) so closed game and now in a 127 minute que... *sigh* Guess if it don't jump it wont be much more playing for me...
Pretty much what my scenario is. Fwiw I think it goes quicker than it says.
Should be fine, thats literally the exact same spec that I have. WeirdRyzen 5800X, 32Gb RAM, RTX 3060 Ti
All fairly new components that don't give me any issues in other games
I just downloaded the entire game so it's running at whatever settings it think I should default to. That included the HD textures, so if I manage to get back in (2 hour queue!) the I'll see if I can turn those off. My monitor is 1440p so I doubt they are really needed.
Hopefully.. it is down to 116 minutes now, for 5 minutes wait time I got 11 minutes closer.. lol
Just give it a while, the open beta runs for a few days, there was always going to be massive queues today because a few million people are all trying to play at the same time right now. You've got all of the rest of tonight, tomorrow, sunday, monday. It will quiet down just as it did last weekend.I give up, waiting for 144 minutes just to login is BS. Also, why does a spinning login icon hammer the CPU, pulling 200+ watts for 2 hour just to login seems a bit mad to me. I will wait till a few weeks after release.
I guess in theory it should be worse today than it will be at launch because at launch you will only have people who have actually bought the game logging in whereas this weekend you have everyone, regardless of whether they have bought it trying to log in, you've probably even got people trying to log in at the moment who have absolutely no intention of buying the game, trying to log in because its free. So I suppose it should be worse this weekend than at launchYou know I said I wouldn't bother but I couldn't resist and did technically get in but wanted to change settings so back to the main menu and rip to error land.
Suppose there's not much point in Europe at precisely the moment tens of millions of people get off work, even if they add capacity I sense that will only induce demand.
