I wish I picked up 10 of these from tesco when I had the chance, they were doing them for £55 with £5 off for pre-ordering.

With a mates 10% discount, would have been able to pick them up at £45 a piece, Kicking myself.

SE or CE? You shouldn't feel bad about it, I've gone to midnight launches for all sorts of things, WoW, COD, BF3 etc etc etc.

I'll be out and about looking for a CE tonight, have also tried to order one here as a backup, which I can always give to the other half if I get another.

Been pretty gutted about the CE pre-order situation tbh, I had placed orders at 2 online retailers only to get an email last week saying they couldn't fulfill my order due to lack of stock.
 
Collectors edition mate. They best have the stock when I get there though :) And I know I shouldn't feel bad, but I've never gone and waited like a little child waiting for christmas - for a game before!

I wish you the best of luck! I've got very few options where I live now that most of the local stores have closed down due to one reason or another, just supermarkets left as an option for me, hence the attempted order here, although I've not had a confirmation, might give them a call in a min to check all is ok.
 
it may look like a high price but a vanilla wow collectors unopened is selling for over £1000 atm. collectors editions go up in value


the blue murloc egg card from the paris invitational event from wow sells for 1700 usd and thats just a pet.

The spectral tiger mount card from the TCG was (if it isn't still) selling for crazy figures as well.

I shall be going to a supermarket. I'd order from ocuk but I'm not paying more than double.

Can verify this as I've gotten a few CE's at the 35-45 mark a 3-9months after launch :)

price is horrific :eek: standard edition will do for now :D
 
If people want it and it's not available somewhere else, they will pay a higher premium though, I wouldn't but some people will pay a pretty penny just to get a specific item. Only 1 left now..
 
People will pay high amount for CE editions because in years time, they will become what they say on the tin. DIABLO has a lot of die hard fans who will pay an arm and a leg to finish off their collections.

Its nice to get the CEs but they can be very expensive, and I m not a Diablo fan. althrough I might buy it (Diablo standard version or even SE depending on price), I defo won't buy the CE
 
if you are a collector or trader the CE are always worth the extra if you can keep one for your self and get spares and hold on they will normally always go up in value with games that have a huge fan base

also its worth looking at region or zone specific items
 
i know demand has forced this to increase in price, but the fact overclockers themselves are actually selling this for 129 is an utter disgrace. yes, stores may be selling it at a loss leader, but so should you. a lot of people will be miffed about this, especially as its almost double what you guys originally stated. I personally never got a spesh edition pre ordered, going to wait till i can afford it, because I had to get 2 copies with the money I have.
if this were at even £15 more than others (£85) youd still make a profit and not be hated on for it.

Are the wow collectors editions really worth this much. The 2004 original release ones... ?
