Did anyone else get Sky for F1?

I can't see the option for that. Could be a Mac quirk.

EDIT - Ah, works in the pop-out player.
0.8 / 1.2 /1.8 are the manual settings.

Anything below 1.8 looks very soft.

Ill be watxhing this race as im at my parents, the next one? Probably not, unless a pub somewhere is showing it this is bye bye f1 for me, i doubt it will compete with football for pub viewing

Sorry to say but no, It at least allows you to watch all races live, Watch the other 10 on BBCHD when they are showing them.

Better than nothing. Wonder how it will look on a 46 plasma?

Will probably need a snappy inet connection, will have to sort all this when i move!

No..NEVER ;) ..people have posted links to sport here last week..take a look in the Nascar thread.

And?

Doesn't make it right, for a forum that is so strict on rules, certainly linking to illegal streaming sports channels shouldn't be allowed.

They are easy enough to find anyway. Also, they aren't all illegal ;)

I would have thought that even if there is a broadcaster in a different country doing free-to-air coverage, streaming it outside that country would still be considered dodgy?

I'm not trying to be high-and-mighty, if I'm honest and I didn't have Sky I might look at the streams available too, but I'm just saying it seems daft to be linking to them when a) they probably are illegal, and b) like you say, anyone but a complete numpty can find them for themselves.

Anyone who links to illegal streaming sites or continues to discuss illegal streaming sites will be suspended and have their access to the motors forums removed!

You have been warned.

German, Spanish and French\Greek tv channels stream F1\Nascar\Indycar for free over the net so ocuk is now banning legal sites?

Woohoo!

Just setup SkyGo on my phone and work PC, ready to watch FP1 and 2 tomorrow morning - at a reasonable hour, and also whilst getting paid for it :D

I can understand all this hate for Sky, however it's worth remembering that the BBC went to Sky and asked if they were interested in the sharing deal, not the other way around. It's also worth noting that the BBC cut F1 in an effort to lower costs, and also that it has just spent £22m on producing an XFactor 'talent' show clone, not to mention the much publicised, costly and pointless closure and moving of offices.

The BBC management are ******* morons.

My anger in this is mainly towards the BBC on this.

F1 should have gone to tender on the open market. It would have gone to the highest bidder. I believe in this instance it would have been C4 as Sky would not have been allowed to bid. BBC sold the British public down the river on this.
