I've no idea how their tax is done but most of the time if you select an item to be dispatched from one of those warehouses the price is higher so I'd guess they might be paying some extra tax on it.

Buying cheap is not illegal, evading tax is illegal. So if your increased consumer price is at the cost of reducing tax evasion that is a good thing. For the economy and the consumer.It's going to push prices up for consumers here, that's a guarantee.
