Did I do well?!?!

Disappointed to see Ocuk 'forgetting' to mention customers statutory rights over the 90 day warranty but will forgive them as they are doing great things with the 970 fiasco. :D

I don't think it's really OcUKs job to point out what every consumer should know for their own protection. Whilst SOGA does apply to second hand or reduced items, it only applies in respect to their described condition and value. Therefore when buying a B-Grade reduced monitor, it is bought with the expectation that "B Grade items may have been used, have damaged packaging, missing accessories or a combination of these.

Some items may have scuff marks or slight scratches but should otherwise be an operable product."

What OcUK is pointing out when they say that "any reference to warranty should be ignored" is that the original manufacturers warranty (whether taken care of by themselves or by OcUK on their behalf) doesn't apply... because it too is in addition to a consumers statutory rights. It is simply replaced by OcUKs 90 day warranty. You always have your statutory rights.

I disagree, overclockers widely promote they have the best customer service, and they do, so I would think they would be happy to have all their customers aware of their rights.

Thank you for your explanation of b grade items, however, I did already know all that! I was merely pointing out that perhaps Ocuk should mention the 90 day warranty does not effect your statutory rights, it might be re-assuring to b grade buyers to know that. :)

I bought a B grade Hazro HZ27WC directly from Hazro 3 years ago and it's still going strong, glad I won the lottery as it's a great monitor!

Why? It's not like OcUK suggest otherwise. If you're not aware of these things, you shouldn't really be buying anything through the internet.
