Did some DIY

???

Your car should tell you when brakes need changing, in fact you could have taken it to any garage and they would be able to advise you!

Fear of having anyone non-BMW look at it due to liking it still being under warranty, and I wanted them checked after blasting around the alps and the 'ring, had some serious brake fade and they sometimes judder a bit too. Bit of peace of mind, really.

Learn to check them yourself.. Much cheaper

And nice one fox nothing better than some DIY that comes out perfect :)

I very much fancy the 16:9 screen but it's absolutely ridiculously expensive - you need a screen at 300 quid, a nav computer at 300 quid, a radio module at 300 quid, a loom at 100 quid, various fittings at 100 quid and you also need to retrofit the high onboard computer inc new instruement cluster if you want the satnav to display date/time as well.
Yep very expensive for what it is but so satisfying after getting it all installed and working :) I wouldn't have bothered doing mine except I spent £1500-2k under my budget for a car so thought **** it
