Did someone delete an XBox modchip question?

I'm sure this would be the case, as the Action Replay Freeloader for the GameCube allows the playing of imports and Nintendo has done nothing to discourage it. I wish there were modchips out there that allowed just imports to be played...

I really hate that modchips are being made illegal, I've been importing games since the NES days and I never buy pirated games, but these days modchips seem to be primarily sold to pirates which gives hardcore gamers a bad name. :(

afaik the mod chip is only illegal in PS2's? Didnt think the court ruled out XBOX as places that stopped selling the PS2 chips are still selling XBOX chips.

Have you read the whole thread? Other people have already made that point and Dolph has answered it.
