Did you RMA your 20XX card, if so please post the details.

2nd Inno3d 2080ti card just failed this morning. Great white splotches and then card hangs.

First one was coloured speckles all over. Previously, card was running at 93c all the time, with the new one, set-up a very loud fan profile for 73c max. Still failed.

Grr .... going back but the week turn around for new card will be rather annoying. Not sure whether to give up on these now.

Have you considered trying a different 2080 Ti?

Mine gone pop this morning after about a month.

EVGA 2080Ti FTW3

It crashed playing Apex Legends last night, since booting it this morning the card is showing a error code 43 in device manager and the card won't display a resolution over 1024 x 768.

I've tested very thing from changing the drivers, fresh install of windows, testing the MB on different BIOS versions and also the different BIOS's on the card. All changes net the same set of results.

Another victim here! Zotac rtx2080ti broke in under a week last night- space invaders artefacts all over screen then died. Was part of a 3k build from here so passed initial stress tests etc. The really concerning thing is i bet i only gamed on it for a few hours tops before it died. See attached pic i took as it died. Very unhappy as i paid for the fast track on this 60 quid and now im unable to game and i am still having to tamper with the machine myself to take it out and return it which i paid for them to do.

Sorry i dont know how to insert an image. https://imgur.com/a/M7D0aWC
This has never happened to me before so I'm unsure what to do.

ASUS RTX 2080 TI ROG Strix OC

I updated my entire set up before Christmas and spent a fortune on it. :(

I play a lot of Black Ops and for the past week I've been unable to complete a single game as it either freezes or crashes out. I thought this was related to a latest patch, however trying again today the game crashed and I had the space invader artefacts all over both monitors. So I tried some other games and I get the same issue but in various forms. After a little bit of research I believe this is now the dreaded dying 2080 issue...

This is one picture I took.

What would you recommend? Do I contact ASUS or where the place I bought the card from?

Really appreciate any advice!

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your cards, hope all goes well with the RMAs.

Gigabyte Waterforce 2080Ti RMA’d 18 Feb. From install it was showing occasional bright coloured flashing artefacts when running BF5 in RTX. Wasn’t enough to worry me at first thinking it could be a driver issue, but when it also started showing similarly with Metro Exodus, I thought there must be a problem. Then it started “stalling” in a strange way. The frame rate would fall to 1FPS. Game was still running but seemingly without a GPU. Eventually it was blue screening constantly. Gigabyte have had it for 3 weeks and have admitted defeat. OCUK is sending me a replacement today and I’m just hoping this one will be ok.

Gigabyte Windforce RTX 2060 for me, the fan was constantly making a rattle noise, it was horrific, so annoying. At 50c the fans turn on but because the fans are off prior to 50c the card idled around 49c so the fans would spin up and spin down non stop and it was SO loud and distracting! Send it back for a refund, going to go for something from another company now.

Very sorry to hear about your cards.

RMA'd my RTX 2060 Founders Edition 2 months to the day from purchase. The fan furthest away from the back plate made a sort of rattling noise that whilst not loud it was constant and you could definitely hear it when the room was quiet and it was SOOO irritating as it sort of rattled inside the case. I took everything out of the case and I could still notice it all the time that I wasn't using something with audio. It sounds a bit pedantic but I use my PC a lot with no audio going on and it was driving me crazy, I can deal with regular fan noise as it's part of the deal but this was just a particular noise and I just couldn't get it out of my head.

Anyway did the online chat thing via Nvidia and they asked a couple of questions and them arranged the RMA the same day. Fedex picked up from my house and Nvidia have covered the postage (to Amsterdam) both ways. I am awaiting my repair/replacement so I will update this when it has been received. Can't complain with how they have handled it in any way, so far.

Sorry to hear about your card, hope all goes well with the RMA, added to the OP.
