Hi Guys, im in need of some guidance.
Currently im trying to lose fat / tone up for my wedding in march 2015

current weight 12.9st
my current build is only what i can descibe as athletic that had to much beer e.g i have muscular arms and legs and a small pot belly. After haveing an acident 5 years ago from MTB i lost confidence and dont really do much in the way of exersize any more. Gained the best part of 1.5 stone in that time. so not to bad but i can feel that my body is not as stong, my core is week when i try to bench the same weight that i can curl.

so i need a diet / work out plan to help me out, I cant afford the gym at the momen becuase of saving for the wedding.

I have access to
bench press 50KG
cross trainer
MTB - ( refuse to use at this time of year as the cold makes me ill)
multi gym ( lat pull down, leg extensions, shoulder press) 40 or 50kg i cant remember.
5kg dumbells

I am sure your capable of searching, but to save you some time start here:

Not necessarily to your specific requirements but you will be plenty of good info non the less - also dont rule out a gym even if your saving for a wedding there is plenty around for £10-£12 per month that will be more then suitable for your needs.

Current weight 12st 9lb in relation to what?? how tall are you, are you male, female (assuming male) etc its all relevant.

Sorry to say this but your assumption of athletic is proably way off the mark, especially if you have hardly done any exercise for the past 5 years you will probably be suprised by how athletic you are not. You may have gained 1.5 st in weight but you dont know how much you lost on top of that in muscle mass so you may have lost 0.5st of muscle mass and so your true gains are more like 2st (its all relative).

It is best to understand where you are now so that you dont get disheartend by how tough it is when you get back in to the swing of regular exercise, mentally if you dont think your out of shape then you have your first session and your mullered and far from your best it can be a real knock and this can put people off :(

Have a read through the threads, then get posting in the following thread to keep things all in one place and so that more people will be inclined to pop in and offer potential advice.

Lastly seeing as someone made almost exactaly the same thread as you that appears to be active at the moment check out this thread as some of the best contributors (and most knowledgable chaps here) have posted advice there, so to save them reapeating themselfs.

Thanks, il have a read later tonight. in relation to your comments, it was a bit of a rush. i am 5.11 , male, and yes althought my arms leg and shoulders are toned, i did mention that my core is weak.
Any way i will have a look, at the threads, and i will try and keep this thread open so that i can keep it updated.

If you want a place to keep things updated then make a log in the log section. It may even help keep you motivated to watch any progress you have.
