It's not about what I can do/say better but if you're going to cancel your pre-order, sign a petition and post a youtube video about all this then I would expect you to fully understand what the implications are of IW's decisions. :)

Dead of COD ... nuff said

Cancelled and signed the petition. About 80000 signatures now, even with duplicates...that's a hell of a lot.

For me, the multiplayer and the likes of clan matches were what kept me playing COD4 for about 6 months to as year, the single player while good lasted me a whole of a week. As it stands, I can see very little to justify the price hike, when they're going to cripple the longest lasting part of the product.

What a shame :(

Look at how many of the larger websites are commenting on this already!

I dont blame them, its just quite funny :)
Still not entirely out of keeping if anyone remembers the slightly pointed teasers for Bad Company '...it's a...solid....metal....box'

Hey, I have a console, you pc gamers are just snobs :p

Well this is crap news, and was planning to get it for the online play as fps games suck with a pad. The only saving grace from a console is a nice sofa and big tv + sound system (well in my house :D)

ermm,

PC with HDMI output to samsung 32" TV
Nice leather bound chair in Gameroom
but sound system s through TV

2 out off 3 not bad.

PS will not buy this game, forgetting this already :-)

I don't blame all the "I'M PIRATING THIS MOFO" comments. I want to play it, but i certainly won't be paying £34 for it!!!
There will be some knee jerk reactions towards pirating however. Some will reneague and buy it, some will wait till the price drops. Some will pirate and some will wait in the vain hope that IW backpeddle and sort this cluster***k out!!!

Personally, after cancelling my pre-order, i've not made my mind up yet. But the crusaders here won't be making me feel guilty and influencing my decision if i do decide to pirate.
Double-standards? :rolleyes:Who bloody cares!? Boycotting is enough. We're ranting cos we feel ripped off, period! We still want the game. I bet 99.99999% of us would buy it if it were £15, as we'd deem that a more reasonable amount to pay for what is likely to be only 10-15hours of gameplay before being shelved.

IW? suck my sphinctre!

Meh, I'm totally against pirating games (must be old age) but I do enjoy modding and making my own maps. Must be an artistic thing. I'll hang on a bit and get it 2nd hand since I expect heaps of people to sell it on after they completed it.

I've been watching this thread with interest and noticed that the number of signatures on the petition has virtually doubled in a 12 hour period. Theres a lot of p****d off ppl out there and probably a lot of lost revenue for IW as well.

It's just so frustrating to think that people have obviously duplicated signatures... :p It sort of invalidates the whole thing if it's not a true representation. :o

I don't think it invalidates anything. This is the Internet, of course there is going to be discrepancies. Regardless of a few duplicates, it still shows a large number of people are not happy with it and if anything makes a difference, it'll be that.. and thousands and thousands of cancelled pre-orders of course. ;)
