DIGGER

Looks random af but it’s a bit concerning that it’s meant to be a comedy and yet there wasn’t a single funny bit in the entire trailer.

Director is a don though so hopefully it’s ok

I was surprised at how divided it is. Won't be watching in the cinema unless I can get a better idea of what it's like and if it's the kind of "bad" that I might enjoy.

Looking forward to it. I enjoyed Birdman and Revenant from Alejandro G. Iñárritu and with Tom Cruise, it should be an interesting one. Likely a home view though.

The PR department working overtime to say experts (reviewers) know nothing. Does start to feel like the anti-vax campaigns now - using the same wording and sentiments. Waiting for them to start attacking wokeness.

Jfc I loved it and hated it....

Forget the trailer.......
Cruise for an Oscar lol
Some great monologues lol

You can't comment on this without watching it..... Spoiler free review
... Ummm wtf
Needs a bit of brain re organisation.
I haven't seen birdman ....
I have seen the revenant ....

If you were planning to watch it ...do watch it.. I think.
Genuinely a watch twice movie....

As much as I think the ones I've seen were good, it's still nice to see him in something other than yet another Mission Impossible movie.

Watched it earlier. I’d say if you’re intrigued then go for it. I hated the trailer and was expecting the worst, but it wasn’t what I thought and I was pleasantly surprised when it got to the final act. It’s certainly not up there with Cruise’s or Innaritu’s best work at all but I was entertained throughout and not bored. My girlfriend who has little patience for movies these days actually liked it too so that’s saying something :p

On the flip side, two pensioners next to us walked out after about an hour :p And the Tom Cruise schtick did get a little annoying.

It’s a shame the trailer couldn’t do any more without giving away a lot of the movies substance. It really is a terrible trailer, but that kinda makes sense once you’ve seen the movie. I’d liken it to Birdman over anything else he’s done.
