DiRT 4

yeah you can add on to the thrustmaster base wheel. i was just saying from the £130 one you buy you will just have accelerator and break no gearstick. you can add gearstick , handbrake and new pedals. thats another 500 quid on top though. :p

dirt 4 is quite easy compared to dirt rally and dirt rally 2.0 is even better. the focus on handling is unreal. along with other things which i cant discuss yet. :D

Not for me! Moved up to N4 class and I struggle to hold a straight line when going fast on long stretches, the car just loses control and I end up spinning ... this is with all the assists on lol Im not fussed about having a gearstick, I always choose automatic. Might give the paddle a go though.

takes a bit of practice. try to learn with assists off. you will end up far better and a lot faster. the car will handle more naturally aswell with no assists on.

Will do tonight, wheel bought. Its the Ferrari version so it matches my case  All my assists are set to 5 at the moment, might dial them down to 3 first see how that goes.

Installed and firmware updated. Went into Dirt 4 and set the controls, everything default.

Straight away I could feel the wheel fighting me, no joke after a few races my shoulders were burning a bit lol Think I'll turn down the force feedback a bit. The steering is great although I find I have to turn the wheel a lot to correct my car, like driving a real car without power steering. The build quality is really good, its a proper piece of kit  Going to try with all assists off next, wish me luck!
