DiRT 4

I just picked this up and enjoying the improved handling compared to rally. But the AI difficulty seems to be an issue. On challenging, I'm winning every stage by 30 seconds and on tough I'm 30 seconds off the pace on my good runs.

Yes there are one or two issues to be put right hopefully in the up and coming patch's.

Well its a start.

Well it looks like CM has took our money and ran putting it politely>Dirt 4.

So from now on l won't pre-order a CM game or take notice of reviews.

I'll wait till its out and wait for players reviews.

Been recommended to get WRC 7, have watched it on YouTube graphics look way better than Dirt 4 for one, real stages none of this self generated repeat stuff.

Will get back to you on WRC 7.

Quick review on WRC 7 is it worth getting yes it is its way a head of Dirt 4, 13 countries with proper stages none of this generated repeated crap stages. Really nice graphics and physics compared to Dirt 4 you can drift your car feel ripples in the snow and feel the weight change on the car.

If the WRC series keep this up CM will have to watch out, the more l play WRC 7 the better it gets.

Loving this rally game! Used to play Colin McRae on the PS2 and not touched a rally game since. Its easy to pickup but hard to master

Gonna pickup a T150 wheel to go with it

Have you played Dirt Rally ?

If not then i highly recommend it (Is A LOT better with a wheel + much better as a rally sim than Dirt 4 imo)

And, if you do get Dirt Rally and a wheel, Make sure you download the "Impact Force Feedback Mod" for it too.

Not got Dirt Rally, might wait for 2.0 next year. Still thinking of getting wheel, racing games are'nt my main types of game and don't wanna spend £130 on a wheel only to find I don't like it.

wheel transforms things. try and pick up a logitech dfgt 2nd hand for £50 or buy a new logitech g29 for about £130 new when on offer.

been testing Dirt rally 2.0 since start. really going to be brilliant. a wheel wont be wasted.

I got my eye on a T150 with pedals for £130. Will have a look at the second hand market.

t150 is decent about same spec as a logitech g29 but minus the gear lever. you will have flappy paddles on it. the thing is you can add to it but you wont have a clutch.

its one of the best budget wheels.

yeah you can add on to the thrustmaster base wheel. i was just saying from the £130 one you buy you will just have accelerator and break no gearstick. you can add gearstick , handbrake and new pedals. thats another 500 quid on top though. :p

dirt 4 is quite easy compared to dirt rally and dirt rally 2.0 is even better. the focus on handling is unreal. along with other things which i cant discuss yet. :D
