Dirt Rally Benchmark

    I think you listed the 1080p score instead of the 1440p score.

    On a side note, based on the screenshots in the opening posts, this game does not look good does it?
    With some of the Forza offerings and Project Cars you sometimes have to look twice to see if it was real or in-game. No such issue with this game it seems.

    Game looks very nice i think, the lightning effects are great. The problem is I'm rubbish at it, staying on the track is the biggest challenge I'm facing. It feels completely different to Dirt Showdown!

    Please remember those screenshots are 720P. :)

    Are they actually 720p native, or simply resized to 720p? I'm thinking the latter.

    I think i might buy this over Project Cars, i liked Dirt 3 a lot, and at least this game looks like it works properly.

    Two entirely different games, surely if you were interested in buying PCars, Assetto Corsa would be your racing game to get, not coincidently one that happens to be a Gaming Evolved title :rolleyes:

    Assetto Corsa sucks, The Gran Turismo series are the best car racing games, well, the early ones are.

    I remember GT1 back in the mid / late 90's, yes i'm old.

    Dirt Showdown was good, easy fun. Not a serious racer at all, but that was its charm.

    Yeah, i'm not a serious racer, a bunch of lunatics smashing eachother about in cars is what DS was about and i loved it, huge fun, side-splitting from start to end, you couldn't even see the screen half the time, it was all just a blur through tears of laughter.
