My old 7800GTX was £350 about a week after release, and that was a very good price.
For people worried about card size, large cards are nothing new.

What's up with the Riddick numbers?
Being a 295gtx owner and seeing the comparison fps in crysis with the 5870 in crossfire its not an massive jump in performance I was hopeing for.
In real world firefight scenes maxed out at 2560 1600 crysis is yet to be tamed sadly according to the above and other comparisons.
Still an awesome card though, and the eyefinity stuff is a seller for me.

Are the benchies been posted reputable? The green camp is awfully quiet, reminds me of the 4870 when it came out. Could they have some come back in the shadows. I know that it has been reported that they wouldn't have anything out until 2010.
