Yes he downloaded pictures during that time period, so he would be charged with that multiple times between then.

And that is for having the pictures on him when he was raided, if he downloaded the pictures and then deleted them he would only have been charged with making them. You are charged once for downloading them, and again just for having them. The article is titled "man downloaded child porn", you can be almost certain he didn't make any from the information given.

So am I, if you ever read any of my posts about how I think rpisons and such should be run.

So you think he should never work again and live on benefits?
don't you think once you have served your punishment you should be able to live your life?

he is on the sex offenders list and is banned from working with children for ever.

I agree with AcidHell2. If I ran prisons they would be anything but like what they are now. And this si the problem, there are things in place such as the sex offenders register and thats about it. One thing I hate is that people go into a cushy life in prison and waste tax payers money. Atleast by working he will not be draining society.if anything it will be a huge punishemnt anyway...imagine what people will be like towards him now. Especially when his military colleagues find out, i bet they arent so forgiving behind closed doors...

Because you are going down the road of vigilantism, yeah its a fine line. Child abusers should be harshly punished, but I really do cringe at the new antipaedophile movement that has become the norm in the last 10 years.

Its like drugs, putting drug users in jail does **** all, the dealers should the ones locked up. If he made actual images performing abuse then he deserves it.
