Dissapointed....

????!!!!!

Did you get the whole system from OCUK?

If so, bad as it will be to not have it, I'd be sending the whole thing back, getting them to sort it, and asking for a refund of all your extra postage! There was another thread a few days back where someone mentioned getting his RMA postage refunded - is this something they do anyway, or was that special treatment? I'd be asking for it. Are they testing the replacement cards they're sending you? Are they just sending back the same card by mistake/evilness? I'd want answers to these questions. Beyond a joke now!

They cant test anything, ive just called and asked.

It has cost me over 20 pounds for postage now and this is just way too far. To the other poster: Not a full system, its prebuilt.

im just wondering if there could be anything in the system that zaps it dead as soon as I launch the computer...

Ehh... myself, naturally.

Could anyone answer my previous question - Is there anything in the system that can zap a card 'dead' as soon as I turn the computer on ? Same problem 3 damn times

Well you seem to be wasting a lot of time diagnosing what is possibly a problem with another component without any spare parts/test kit. If they supplied everything as a system they should support it as a system and have the responsibility to make sure the system works. What did you buy exactly? If you just bought individual components I'd be asking if you can RMA anything that can be a possible cause and asking them to test them together to get to the bottom of what is the real cause. You should be having this sort of discussion with them really, though - over the phone or the customer servce forum section, and see what they can offer you. I'd definately be wanting my postage refunded for all this hassle!

Ive got no way to test if the PSU is dead, and that would cost me ANOTHER 12 quid to send, and another 10 if its working. I need 100% sure before I waste anymore money

Yeah surely 3 cards on the trot can't be faulty. Have you tried a different mobo? I think it was mentioned earlier but maybe the PCI-E slot is not functioning properly?

Stulid: Can a PSU not up to the job cause that type of problem with the monitor? I'm not sure!

Im really sad at the moment, just the thought It can be anything in the computer kills me and I really dont want to send anything else away, ive wasted so much time, all I want is a functioning, god damn computer.

Cant check with another mobo
Cant check another PSU...

Well what is it then ? I cant check another mobo, another PSU, tried different monitor got the same thing.

(2nd acc this.)
