Dissapointed....

How long are your RMA's taking by the way?

I sent a faulty GTX470 back on the 13th Oct and am still waiting now

Ive chased OC twice and been told it can take up to 28 days

Unlucky mate, my first RMA I sent on monday, they got it tuesday, and I received it on wednesday.

Next RMA(Current one) I sent on Saturday morning so they probably got it around 12am this morning. Will probably get it wednesday again.
Are you sure you paid for next day delivery ?

Above poster: Its a prebuilt comp, so my GTX460 was the first one.

Really annoying case. all my friends agree that something is defo not right.

Just got to wait and see I guess.

I my missing something here but did you not try the GPU's individually? I get the impression from the last few pages that you have'nt.

Ive already said ive updated everything there is to update mate. no help. its RMA'd anyway.

u mention u didnt update the bios casue u were scared.

i repeat also, what about the drivers? how does the onboard amd gpu deal with discreet nvidia drivers, any possible issues there?

Apart from BIOS, everything.

About drivers: I dont think there would be any issue as ive uninstalled the AMD drivers and disabled the onboard (even though I didnt have to) and there was no help, but I dont know. maybe.

That was an amazing turn RMA around twice. Hardly had time to test the cards. Perhaps OcUK had a premonition and didn't need to test. ;)

Bad Batch theory seems increasingly likely to me.

if me, i would try a fresh install of windows, with the new card in from the start to rule out ati drivers/files hanging about

i think there are some pretty good free programs around that can remove drivers without having to reinstall?

cant rememebr the name of the one i used but it worked a charm.
