TV on in the background (C4) as you do and an ad for 'viva vegan' came on. In the advert a couple order a delivery of pulled pork from "just meat", only to get a delivery driver deliver a live pig with a "free meat cleaver".

Actually made me furious taking over my TV with their vegan propaganda cobblers. I have no problem with them advertising the "advantages of veganism" but unsolicited insulting of those who eat meat on prime TV made me red with rage. My complaint is on the way to the ASA!

Ad is on YouTube but won't post it to give them the credits

And I suspect that would be the case for most people. Does it hurt for people to be reminded that it's actually an animal they are eating, and not something called 'pork' or 'beef' or 'lamb' that just comes wrapped in a nice little package on a supermarket shelf...
You don’t need to remind people, everybody knows.

A lot of the vegan brands are suffering in the current uk economy - beyond meat / Heck, as consumers can't afford the premium;

These companies are making big margins (for their carnivorous shareholders) so I'm not surprised if they are now resorting to shock stick carrot
advertising techniques, rather cynical for the impressionable demographic they want to attract.

You have a problem with the wrong thing, there are no "advantages" to veganism. That sort of advert is not an issue, the issue is there are people who think being vegan is healthy, or in any way good for the environment.

If the advert instead said, being vegan is more healthy, and better for the environment, that would be wrong, and would be cause for your post.

The advert you describe is not propaganda because it is based on emotion, rather than pushing false information.
