DIY HDD Caddy

Tut tut. If you really are the type of person to build a hard drive caddy out of Lego you wouldn't be using a £14 fan :p
But good job none the less.
 
God damn if that's not one of the coolest things i've ever seen... I doff my cap to you sir. Get it spread about the internet before people try to copy you, quick. :D

I really want to take this further but my supply of Lego is dwindling. Time to raid some car boots and see what else I can find.

Didn't realise people would like this so much :)

I've been inspired to make it a bit better so I dismantelled the existing caddy this morning and rebuilt it.

So heres the new and improved Lego HDD Caddy

Because this is going to be sitting on a shelf behind me, I decided to try and make it as space effecient as possible so I added a compartment to the bottom for the PSU to sit in. I also found a way to better fit the filter into the design.

But the most important thing is that I found a load more Lego men! Its like a little party going on now.
